Chapter 50

The ultimate action – Control over the spiritual world

November 7, 1959

‘Ishvara Tattwa’ – The fourth stage in the process of Cosmic evolution (evolution of self) is called the Ishvara Tattwa’ – Kashmira Shaivism’ by Basugupta.

Reading this paragraph Diamond said, ‘Let me read this whole paragraph and then I shall explain it. But you know, except those who have seen me in dreams, others will give an imaginary explanation. Without a proof it may carry a literal explanation.

“The term Ishvara means Lord. IT is used to defy that condition in nature, when all is recognized as one. This Tattwa (doctrine) is postulated to account for that condition, when the subject (Aham) recognizes the object (Idam). Here the relationship is ‘This’ am I, with the emphasis on the ‘This’ (Idam). It is the stage of complete self identification, as when one awakens from sound sleep. Here the ‘This’ (Idam) is said to emerge into full view and the Divine glory of his being is recognized.

This category accounts for the power of universal knowledge, technically called then Gnana Sakti, the knowledge aspect of Sakti or consciousness.

It is knowledge as such without reference to any emotion, it is pure awareness without reaction. There is no desire to go towards or away. It is the knowledge that proceeds ultimate action.”

Now let me ask you, – what plane will you take into account by means of this Fourth stage? Whether the second stage of sixth plane or the fourth plane of Tantra or the fourth plane of Vedanta which is dream stage – which one you will consider?

When the writer is mentioning about the ‘Evolution of self’ – that starts from vision of water in Pranamaya Kosha (Sheath) or the third plane. And what I have told you? This vision of water is also a stage of visualization of God. And thereafter having realization in plane, the ultimate realization is the visualization of God in the cerebrum. All these are the Ishvara Tattwa. Then in what sense the writer used this term ‘Fourth stage’? Sankhya has mentioned about visualization of God as seeing God’s light in the fourth plane. Though this is not the specific visualization of god as he is seen in the seventh plane or cerebrum. Then he must have mentioned about the fourth plane of Vedanta or Vignamay Kosha, as because in the next line he is saying – ‘The term Ishvara’ means ‘Lord’ – the best citizen of the world. Why this term ‘Lord’ is used? As because to defy that condition in nature. Can you say, what is the meaning of ‘Nature’? It is merely human race, because a human being can become a Lord. When? When all is recognized as one. But this will not stand if only a single man will say it. This should be announced by the whole world as you are announcing seeing me within you. And then only it will become complete self identification. When the human race reappear a person into full view – this is the real in full view’. And ‘to go towards or away’ means Swamiji’s (Swami Vivekananda) words ‘Being one with divinity there cannot be any further progress in that sense.’

Then comes ‘…… that proceeds ultimate action’ – what is this ‘ultimate action’? That man achieves the controlling power on the spiritual world. But is that only on spiritualism, not on the material world? It has not yet manifested.

Now listen – only we have given such explanation on this topic and we are the ones who conceived this. As because without realizations nobody can conceive this. It is completely Mahayoga.

Sisir  Kumar Mukherjee

12 December, 1966:

About 35 years ago from today under the instruction of Jibankrishna I came to ream his book at Beleghata Reading Centre for the first time.

When I went to Jibankrishna for the first time, I had no intention to acquire religion. Spontaneously I had gone to him. About two months later of my first visit, in the year 1964 when Jibankrishna was sending all to go to different Reading Center, out of fear I stopped going to him, because as soon as I would go to him he would have sent me to the Reading Centre. And as I had no idea about religion, what would I read there. During that time one of my colleagues of the Railway Office named Ambar Bhattacharjee one day asked me, ‘You met Jibankrishna I know. How did you see him’?

I said, ‘I saw living God’. That day these words came out from my mouth spontaneously.

Then one day another colleague Umapada Mukherjee told me, ‘Why are you so much scared? Go to him. If he tells you to go to the Reading Centre, you say, I cannot go’. I said, ‘I cannot say ‘NO’ directly to him’. But after a couple of days he took me forcibly to Jibankrishna. He said, ‘Hey, why have you not come for so many days, what were you doing’? I said, ‘I did not have time’. He said, ‘My boy, a family life never gives time to anyone. So long you will lead a family life, anybody will suck you and you will not find time. So you have to do one thing, you will have to find time and then come here’. I thought it was good that he did not say anything about my going to the Reading Centre. Then he said, ‘Come again’. So I started again to go to him.

After going to Jibankrishna for a few days, one day he said to me, ‘Sisir, today Charu will not go to Beleghata, can you go to Beleghata Reading Centre? Sushil Babu will take you there’. I said, ‘I cannot go’. But he said, ‘Whatever you can, you read. Go with Sushil Babu. Wherever he will tell you to got, you follow his instruction’. Most humbly I said, ‘Is it possible for me’? But he said, ‘As I am saying, go there, read the Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna and ‘Dharma-O-Anubhuti’ (Jibankrishna’s Bengali book) and then come back.

From that day onwards I began to go to Beleghata Reading Centre with Sushil Babu, Charu and Gopal. As per instruction of Jibankrishna I only used to read the Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna and Jibankrishna’s Bengali book without giving any explanation. It was because I had little ideas about religion, so what would I explain.

One day brother Charu told me, ‘You are not doing anything, still now you are not explaining anything’. However, one day I went to Jibankrishna. He asked, ‘Why do you come to me today? Have you not gone to the Reading Centre’? I said, ‘I am ready to go, but I cannot continue it’. He said, ‘Why, what happens to you’? Then I said, ‘It is not so much a major thing, but I cannot explain during reading. I could never talk so much before public and so I only read your book’. He said, ‘That reading will serve the purpose and so you continue with reading only’. I said, ‘But they are talking about the explanation’! He said, ‘Let them say. Whatever I am saying do that and read very loudly, so that anybody can hear it’. Thereafter throughout my life I have continued with hearing only.

It was a strange thing that, in whatever days I used to read the book, the next day I heard everybody was narrating dreams.

When they wanted the interpretations, I used to say, ‘Do one thing. Pray to him to give interpretations of the dreams’. When they asked, ‘Why are you saying so’? I answered, ‘If I interpret it, it may be merely the word meaning but will not be the yogic interpretation’.

I was more surprised when I saw that their dreams were more than mine. Everybody used to say, I have dreamed this, I have dreamed that and I thought what a strange thing! Jibankrishna has made the religion so easy! In early days, we saw that to perform religion, we have to do so many ritualistic activities, but now I see that nothing to do in religion. This is spontaneous in a human body and a birthright. I need not do any self-exertion. Just I have to stay at home, do my office and family work and this is becoming an extra something. Henceforth, I used to go to the Reading Centre without any tension.

Now-a-days, just staying at home I read the Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna and Jibankrishna’s Bengali book ‘Sharma-O-Anubhuti’ and from the neighborhood whoever becomes interested and come to my house, I read it before them. Still now I have been continuing like this. I do not know what more is awaiting for me. Once Jibankrishna said, ‘See my boys, whatever you do or do not, at least read the one chapter of page and failing that bow to it and keep it. Those who cannot read, keep it below the pillow after going to bed at night’. It is so easy, so simple! After reading these books, a spiritual action is created within the body, and that action is revealed through dreams, which is spontaneous without any self-exertion. The Vedic sages named it as ‘Para Vidya’ (The Knowledge of Self) which is manifested within the human body spontaneously.

I bow down to all.

Chapter 68

Indication  of  mass  realizations  with  the

Blessings  of  Holy  Mother  or  Adyasakti

313)     5th August, 1978.  Saturday.

Early morning dream:   I was going to an unknown place and a 12-13 years old girl was riding me on a bicycle. She was cycling very first but very smoothly.

In a place she stopped and said,  ‘I am injured on my foot, so I cannot go’ ; I went on walking and after covering a distance the girl could not be visible. After a while, I saw myself sitting in a room on the top floor of a building and nobody was there . The building seemed to be a hotel. I was supposed to go downstairs and it seemed that somebody would take me there and so I was waiting. I was visualizing the scene underneath and at this moment the dream went off .

The dream indicates that the seer will experience universal austerity with the help of Holy Mother as the girl depicts Adyasakti or the Holy Mother. But as she is within the limit of individualistic realizations., she had to stop at certain point within the

individualistic jurisdiction. As the hotel is for general public, it depicts universal austerity which is beyond the capacity of Adyasakti.

Accompaniment  with  the  Holy  Ghost  and  devotees—

Increase  of  brain  power

314)     6th  September, 1978 . Wednesday ,  Place—Makardha, Howrah .

At noon time I had a dream.  I was on a standing posture beside my cot in a room of Mr. Indranath Mukherjee’s residence at Makardah where many devotees had camped for a few days .

The time was 12 noon and sometime I felt asleep . For a moment I woke up and again felt asleep . At 3 o’clock I again woke up and saw the clock . I was again feeling sleepy and at this moment I noticed that Jibankrishna was seated on the floor on the left side of my cot . On his right side another devotee named Benoy Mukherjee, on a lying posture was talking to Jibankrishna . Anath Mondal was in meditation on one side of the room . I was feeling  deeply  asleep, but I was trying to keep my eyes opened, though couldn’t help . I tried to turn to the right side on  lying posture so that Jibankrishna couldn’t see it . I then tried to sit and attempted for meditation though from time to time was leaning front side . So at last I lied down facing Jibankrishna . At that moment Anath Mondal also stood up . I saw that it was 4 o’clock. Jibankrishna also stood up and went to the corridor, instructing to prepare tea as it was then 4 o’clock .

At this moment, it was seeming to me that Jibankrishna would stay with us and the next day he would depart along with me as it was his motive . Then I forcibly woke  up and at last felt that the whole indicate was happing in the dream .

Such long and vivid accompaniment with the Holy Ghost and devotees in the dream is increasing the brain power of the seer which will be the base of many future super quality realizations .

Realization   of  Supreme  State

315)      10th September, 1978 .  Sunday :

Early morning dream :   In the midst of a dream someone was saying what was supreme Brahma (God) and he was continuously explaining this matter to me. At this moment the dream went off.

The dream is indicating that this supreme condition is established within the body of the seer by the grace of God, as the unknown one is God Himself.

Realization   of  Oneness

316) .    11th September, 1987.  Monday .

Early morning dream :  I was going to some unknown place by a bicycle through Diamond Harbour Road. My elder brother was cycling .

Then he took me to a shop where I drank a bottle of milk. After this my elder brother took me back by cycling . It seemed to me that the empty bottle was not returned and so again I started going back to the shop, through this time I was cycling myself without my elder brother.

On his way I had to stop from time to time due to traffic jam though it was not causing any difficulty to me as the road was very wide . While cycling, my dream went off .

Immediately after waking up instant meaning of the dream flashed in my mind thus :   Elder brother—God, who was guiding the seer’s motion ; To drink milk—achievement of special knowledge i.e, knowledge of oneness which is obtained in mass austerity ; To return empty bottle—devoid of body consciousness which can only be obtained in mass austerity and not in individitualistic realizations ; Without elder brother or God—After attaining ‘Advaitam’ or Oneness God is not required as because there is only the seer alone and nobody else .

Place  :—Temple  of  Dakshineswar .

(Henceforth  Shri  Ramkrishna  will be  spoken  of  as

Thakur” when required  as  it is so  done in the  Gospel )

513.    “The Rishis (sage of the Past) persued Knowledge (Jnana)”.

It is the Aryan culture—spontaneous evolution of the life—power. “Siva is coming out piercing the earth”—-Shri Ramkrishna.

514.    “Incarnation of God is sought by the followers of devotion (Bhaktas)”.

It is Dravidian or Semitic culture. “Siva is set up here by self-exertion”—Shri Ramkrishna.

Really it can never be done and it is very weak and defective.

It is never accepted and acknowledged in the Vedas because it does not bear any proof. Furthermore Godhood cannot be obtained by self-exertion.

515.    “The sun rises and the lotus blooms”.

Sun—Sun of Knowledge, when divinity in a man is manifested in the seventh plane.

Lotus—Symbol of the cerebrum. Both sun and lotus are seen in the seventh plane.

Knowledge is compared here with lotus for its Purity and beauty. Knowledge is pure as it is divine knowledge and divinity is the most beautiful. As sun is one and incomparable, so “Knowledge is One”—Ekam Sat, like the sun in the azure sky and beautitude in itself.

516.    “Is it possible for one and all to get collected in the seventh plane – the Indivisible Existence –

Bliss Absolute?”.

Here it is spoken of Atma. The life-power pervading through and through the body is collected and held in the cerebrum. It is not a question of comprehension. It is seen and shown by God-the Preceptor.

It is the rarest thing which happens in a man’s life. No report with proof has yet reached the humanity; as about it, with its proof is spoken in the Vedas.

In Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, Jajnavalka declared that Atma should be visualized but he did not declare that he saw Atma.

In Svetasvetara Upanishad, Svetaketu declared that he saw the ‘Purusha’ behind the darkness; but this is not Atma.

Zoroaster of Persia did not declare seeing of the Atma.

No mention of Atma has ever been made in the Babylonian or Assyrian religion.

From Moses and Buddha and down to Shri Chaitanya none announced the seeing of Atma, save and except Shri Ramkrishna who with all emphasis declared the seeing of Atma.

Here a difficulty crops up in his emphatic declaration, as seeing of the Atma is immediately followed by seeing the seer of Atma by innumerable people within their own bodies irrespective of caste, creed, or anything else. It is so depicted in the Vedas when the globe was half enveloped in the darkness of ignorance.

We find in our everyday experience the very identical Cismic Law still stands good and runs the same course as it was with the Rishis in the days of yore.

Ms. Putul Chakraborty from Barisha Reading Center, Kolkata has narrated her dreams thus :

1)            On February 2, 1995, I saw in dream that reading of Jibankrishna’s Bengali book ‘Dharma-O-Anubhuti’ was going on at our residence. All the listeners of the Reading Centre have assembled for listening. I was combing my hair in a room beside the room where reading was going on. I could see everything through the middle door. At this moment I noticed that among everybody Sri Ramkrishna and Sri Jibankrishna were seated. Sri Jibankrishna then called me by waving his hands. Nut I was thinking at that moment that Sri Jibankrishna never touched a women. But my maternal aunty Rekha called me and said, ‘Don’t be scared, come here.’ So holding my comb in my hand and with a great hesitation I went and sat in between Sri Ramkrishna and Sri Jibankrishna and both of them started hugging and patting me. Here the dream was off.

[Jibankrishna used to say that in the spiritual world there is no difference between male and female. Here that was shown.]

2)            On February 30, 1997, I saw in my dream that I had gone to the Reading Centre where brother Amulya was reading. But I saw that all the male and female listeners being transformed into Jibankrishna were listening to the reading. Looking at brother Amulya I saw that instead of him Jibankrishna was reading. My dream was off.

[The dream indicates that in the spiritual world everyone is Jibankrishna, because Atma or Soul is one and this Atma is transformed into the form of Jibankrishna.]

Ms. Susmita Sengupta from Barisha Reading Centre has narrated her dreams thus :

1)            One night in the year 1997 I was seeing that my brother and I was staying in a room. The door of the room was broken. Outside there was going on a great fight. One side there were many people and on another side there was only one. It seemed that he was fighting for us. Inside the room both of us were scared. My brother said, ‘Let us called God.’ Saying this he took out a book with Sanskrit hymns. But he could not spell it. So I said, let it kept aside, rather say ‘Hail Jibankrishna’. As soon as he uttered these words, we saw that Jibankrishna was lying beside us. I gave his introduction to my brother. When I finished, Jibankrishna said, ‘you don’t have to be scared. They all are dead now. Now let me go away.’ I said, ‘Where will you go? I shall go with you.’ But as he denied I also insisted I shall go with you.’ But as he denied I also insisted to go with him. So ultimately he entered me into a new room. Then my dream was off.

[This fight was against the animal passions of the seer which were destroyed by God-the-Preceptor. New room means new body with divinity.]

2)            On July 31, 1997.

I saw in my dream that I had dome colorful photos of my own form. I was looking beautiful in those photos. Then I saw that I had gone to Jibankrishna’s residence. The reading of the Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna was going on there and Jibankrishna was seated there. As soon as I went there, he said, ‘oh, you have come! It is good!’ Saying this he told me to sit near me and began to pat. Then said, ‘I see you have brought many people with you. It is very good.’ He patted me throughout the night and then my dream was off.

[The grace of God-the-Preceptor was pouring on the seer. Many people may see Jibankrishna within them through her in future.]

Chapter 30

The effect of dream is conditional

January 11, 1959:

Khagendra Nath Ghosh (To Jibankrishna) – In a dream I saw that I would be hanged and with a very petty cause I was hanged. I saw that many people were hanging. All except me died. But it was strange that I was hanging for a long time, yet I did not die. The butcher then united me and said, ‘go to that master. He is the order giver in this matter’. The master was a bit away from me and I went to him. I that he was our Doctor Netai (Jibankrishna’s companion). My dream was off.

Jibankrishna – You have become immortal (in spiritual body) and got the boon of immortality. The dream also indicates your condition of perpetual bliss (Netai – Nityananda). But all those happened in the brain. Later on you will get its effect though this is conditional. These are the sportive forms of nature. Even visualization of Atma or Soul is also conditional. Lead your life very strictly and purely and then only you will get its effect.

Visualization of eye of knowledge by nine years old boy

January 14, 1959:

Vinay Mukherjee (To Jibankrishna) – My son (9 years old) saw yesterday in trance that a great monkey (Hanuman) crossed the sea by a single jump and immediately after that saw an eye on his forehead.

Jibankrishna (To the listeners) – Just see that little child’s mind reached the seventh plane without having the austerity of the lower planes and that one eye on the forehead means the eye of knowledge.

Vinay – I saw in a dream that I was seated under a mango tree in the quay of the river Ganges of Dakshineswar Temple (Kolkata). My whole body was luminous and I was laughing. Plenty of light was emerging from my body and standing away from my right side you said twice , ‘That is Parama Brahma, that is Parama Brahma (Supreme Self)’.

Jibankrishna – It is indicated that this condition will be effective in your body. This may either be effective in your casual body. Your spiritual condition will further be developed.

The effect of dream in the material World

January 20, 1959:

Jehangir Batliwala is Parsee by religion. He narrated to Jibankrishna a strange experience in his office. –In my office there was a mistake in the accounts of Rupees of 380 and Paise 3. That night I saw in a dream that you said to me, ‘The mistake you will find on 10.1.1959.’ On the basis of that when I re-checked the account I got it solved. My office colleagues asked me, ‘How you have done it?’, I said, ‘God has told me and He is within the body.’

Jibankrishna – Let me bow to you. Rightly you have told your colleagues that God had told you and He is within the human body. This also means that you are preaching to others and in this way God himself is preaching.
