DIAMOND(JIBANKRISHNA) UPANISHAD PERSONIFIED
Translated from my Bengali book ‘Upanishader pare’(Beyond Upanishad)
Volume- 6, March, 2013
[Jibankrishna used to discuss his lifelong divine realizations with innumerable listeners at his residence every day. Many of these discussions were based on Upanishads and yogic interpretations on The Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna.
These discussions were recorded by some listeners in their diaries. Based on a compilation work from these diaries I have published thirteen books in Bengali. The articles are translated from my books. ]
Diamond is the example of Upanishad’s immortality
Satya is seeing in his dream – I was telling him so many things among which only two words he could remember – (1) I shall become immortal and live forever; (2) I am not only shiva, but shiva and sakti both.
This means, so many people saw me and still are seeing me in their dreams, trances etc. so long they will thrive I shall also thrive. As many human beings will live I shall live within them. This is the immortality but not in the traditional sense. As, when a man dies, he becomes great and his birthday is celebrated. Is it immortality? No! After a few days people will forget that. Thakur (Sri Ramkrishna) said, ‘To donate (Worldly) knowledge is the best donation’. No! Even this is not the best donation. Then what? To become one with the humanities. And that is announced by the human race. This is endless, eternal. They are offering this donation to me – what is that? This is Oneness. So those people who are seeing my form within them are being transformed into my form. When they will extinct, I shall also extinct and be merged into Brahma. But that will never happen and so I shall become immortal.
In the mother’s embryo there is the seed of life, no other foreign elements can trespass there. This law is eternal. That seed is transformed into the form of a human being and comes out. This is Shiva and the body is Sakti (Power). It seems separate by illusion. But that is not true. There are no two separate entities. One is the extension of the other. The form which exists within the seed of the life of human being is my form.
[Svetasvetara Upanishad has mentioned on immortality thus:
The Person, in Truth, this whole world is; Whatever has been and whatever will be; Also ruler of immortality; (And) Whatever grows up by food. (3.15)]
Seeing Diamond within the body the eternal lacking is fulfilled
On 8.4.1962 Diamond explained to the listeners: In the first chapter of Chandogya Upanishad they have mentioned about the Purusha (Supreme Person). They are explaining – ‘Purusha’ means who dwells in the cerebrum and fulfilled the world with his own self. Now, let me ask you one question. Before coming here what was your lacking? To become one with me by seeing me within. I saw world tree within my cerebrum. That tree is sucking its food from my body. Again that tree exists within each human being. Seeing me within that lacking will be fulfilled. And this is the concrete proof of that Purusha.
Katho Upanishad mentions about the world tree rooted in Brahma as auch:
Its root is above, its branches below – This eternal fig tree! That (root) is indeed is the Pure. That is Brahma. That indeed is called the Immortal. On it all the worlds do rest; And no one so ever goes beyond it. (6.1)
DIAMOND AND THE AMAZING FACTS ABOUT DREAMS AND REALITY IN HIS LIFE TIME
(Translated from my Bengali book ‘He Mahajivan’)
Volume – 6, March, 2013
I saw Jibankrishna (Diamond) in dream before I met him in reality
In my life I got my religious education from my father and elder cousin brother Dhirendra Nath Roy who got accompaniment of Jiban Krishna (Diamond) for many years. I also got inspiration from them to read the lives of great saints.
Before meeting Jibankrishna my brother used to go to holy mother Anandamayee. Even before that he used to engage himself in worshipping and ritual practices. In every holiday, he used to spend the whole day at mother’s monarchy.
After some long days I noticed that he left his sacred threads (Brahmin caste Hindus use it), and worshipping gods and goddesses. During that time, he shifted from our residence at Haritaki Bagan Lane (Kolkata) to Anath Nath Deb Lane. I often used to go to his office with a mission to get some advices on religion from him. During that time (June/July, 1961) I heard that he often used to go to Jibankrishna and his whole philosophy was changed completely after coming in contact with him. He gave me a book ‘Religion and Realization’ to read. This book was written by Jibankrishna in the name of Diamond picked up in the street.
After reading the book thoroughly I requested my brother to take me to Jiban Krishna. But he did not agree, because at that time it was permissible to go to Jiban Krishna unless he dreamt him. So being hopeless I spent several months. I through perhaps I was not fit to go to him. When I said this to my brother, he ignored it lightly and said it did not depend upon any good or evil prejudices. But I did not have to wait for a long time. In the month of October, 1961 I saw a dream.
I dreamt that I was crossing river Ganges by a steamer diagonally. The steamer was almost like an aircraft carrier. I had a feeling that Jibankrishna and brother, though I had no idea about Jiban Krishna’s form. Through wireless we got the news about a storm. The steamer crossed the river very fast and reached the quay of the other side. I got up alone on the bank of the river. After a few distance a paped raised area was visible and then a deep forest. Inside the forest there was a hut where the holy mother (wife of Sri Ramkrishna) used to reside. I went there and as soon as I bowed down to her she placed her two legs on my head and thereafter she inquired about my name and addresses. Hearing everything she again inquired whether I knew Dhiren Roy, my elder brother. When I said that he was my elder brother, she felt hurt and said, ‘he used to come to me often previously, but now he does not come’.
Then I came out of that place and on the road I saw both my brother and Jibankrishna (It was my feeling) where walking on the road. Coming near holy mother’s hut Jibankrishna bowed to her uttering the words ‘Mother, Mother’ but did not go inside.
Thereafter, I saw an old church. Inside was distempered with green color ornamented with red leaves, flowers etc. There were a row of chairs on the platform, and was far away from the door. On the left side of the door were kept some vacant benches. On the right side some people were singing sitting on the benches. Some were painting on the wall. Jibankrishna and my brother came inside and sat on two chairs side by side. When I looked at my brother with a gesture he told me to sit on another bench beside the door. Jibankrishna’s face was covered with a cloth, and I couldn’t see his face as he was seated on one side of the door.
The scene changed. Now I saw a big open space outside the church. On one side of the field there was a temple, newly painted with red color. Inside the field was a big pipe through which water was dropping.
Coming out of the church Jibankrishna began to take bath in this water body. During bathing from time to time he was looking at the temple and recited loudly a hymn of Sri Chaitanya. I observed him from his back side and noticed that he had gigantic figure with strong neck.
In the next scene I saw that inside the church Jibankrishna was dancing and singing. This time he was tiny and I could see his face properly. He had white and black hairs with a short beard. During singing he was touching my body from time to time. At this moment I woke up.
Next day I rushed to my brother’s office at Esplanade East. After hearing my dream he said, ‘let us go there after the office hours. You identify him to-day’. So, after the office hours both of us rushed to Jiban Krishna’s residence. When I reached there, I saw a small open corridor in front of an one-storied house. There was a narrow lane beside the corridor and keeping our shoes there we entered into the room and saw Jibankrishna lying on his cot facing the door. The same face as I saw in my dream! I was more surprised when I saw that the walls of the room were painted with flowers and climbers on green distemper, just like the church seen in my dream.
As soon as we entered, his traditional welcome ‘Come my boy’ was heard. He instructed me to sit in front of him on the floor. My brother gave him my introduction and said, ‘he is my younger brother named Rabi. Last night he saw you in his dream’. Jibankrishna told me to narrate it. After hearing he asked me, ‘my boy, where is god? As you saw me in your dream, who was he? Oh, listen, he is God’.
I spent the whole evening but couldn’t remember the discussions except one, when he said there is only one way named Susumna through which after awakening Kundalini or life force, goes to the seventh plan from Muladhar. Immediately after saying this he fell into Samadhi state (profound meditation merged into godhood). I spent up to 8-00 P.M. and when I bowed down to him, he said, ‘whenever you will find time, come here’.
After returning home I could not sleep for most of the night. Already fourteen years have passed since I first met Jibankrishna, but I never spent a single day without thinking or remembering Jiban Krishna. It seemed to me as if to get an inner man whom to forget means to forget own self.

MY VISION OF PAST AND FUTURE
Indication of advance science and vision of far future
22nd October, 1976
10) To-day is Dewali. At night I had a dream. The scene opened with a vast open space. There I was seated with some friends like Dhiren Mondal, Arun Ghosh, Abala Kanta Dutta etc. It was complete dark at night. While I looked at the sky, it was deep dark without any stars. Suddenly an unusual scene was seen in the sky as if it had been turned into a screen of a cinema and the figures of the seated persons were observed in the sky covering the whole area. It seemed to me as if I had been visualizing a cinema in the sky. Whatever they had been acting beneath, the same picture were flashing in the sky i.e., the same scene of moving hands & talking to each other, laughing of Dhiren Mondal had been observed in the sky. While I was observing this scene in the sky with a great surprise, Arun Ghosh asked him, ‘what are you seeing’?
I pointed out the scene in the sky to him, but nobody could see this. I got surprised and asked, ‘strange! You can’t see anything?
After a while I observed that the whole scene suddenly vanished and the sky was glittering with innumerable stars Here the dream went off.
[ In macrocosm the dream is indicating a far future of much advancement of science and is also showing that the seer has achieved a very advanced brain power though in embryo stage. With this dream this particular brain-cell of the whole human race is opened. In due course of time this will be invented.
In microcosm it reveals that the sky is the cerebrum or the seventh plane of human body. It means that whatever is outside is within the brain which we reflect outside and see.]
FUTURE VISION – INDICATION OF THE PUBLICITY OF MY DREAMS
22nd November, 1976, Monday
11) Early morning dream:Mr. Indranath Mukherjee, sitting inside a room was reading very loudly the manuscript of the seer’s dreams and Mr. Dhiren Mondal another companion of Jibankrishna(Diamond) was listening to it. At this moment the dream went off.
This was the third time so far that the indications about the publicity of the seer’s dream were reveled through dreams. The first one was on 23.06.1972 and the second one on 26.06.1976.
The dreams were thus:
23rd, June, 1972 Friday . Early morning dream : Accompanied by my friend Nisith, younger sister Prakriti and younger brother Malay I went out for a walk . While walking, I was narrating my dreams to Nisith and here the dream went off .
[ The dream was revealed to me thus : Prakriti is the symbol of Nature , Malay denotes gentle breeze and Nisith means nirguna or dark which means infinite . My dreams will remain in dark and in due course of time these will spread like a gentle breeze in nature or in the world .
After 20 years my dreams are being published in Bengali magazine and after 38years being translated is published in different websites.]
[ It came true after twenty years when the seer’s dreams were published through a Bengali magazine and then after thirty four years being translated into English are being published in different websites.]
26th June , 1976 . Early morning : Dhiren Mondal, a companion is reading my dreams very loudly and then the dream went off .
[The dream corroborates a dream as seen by the seer on 23.6.72 which indicated that once the dreams of the seer would be gaining publicity in future. ]
RELIGION AND REALIZATION (EXCERPT)
By Diamond picked up in the street
Volume – 6, March, 2013
Place :—Temple of Dakshineswar .
126). “On the footpath, a tree when young must be fenced around. Otherwise it will be eaten up by the stray cow and goat”.
Footpath—is the world where there is an uproar of greediness for continuous pleasure though there is no satiety in it. A man lives therein. “The world is an arena of unquenchable thirst for pleasure and creature comfort—“.Sri Ramkrishna.
Tree on the footpath—represents a man’s body with life—power in it.
Life-power (Kundalini) at the first stage is but a sapling. It grows. It becomes a plant. Finally it becomes a tree bearing fruits. It is a mango tree. It bears small fruits on the lower branches and very bigger fruits on the upper ones and one biggest fruit on one top most branch. It is so seen in the body.
Young—means the initial waking condition of life-power. It develops, first it comes in the form of a venomous snake and it is seen in a dream. This very dream takes living form in its own course of time and is seen in an expressive way to manifest over the body. In the long run when a man realizes and sees all the sportive forms of God in the five sheaths of the body, still the life-power is not manifested over the body with a tangible expression. If in a very matured condition when life-power makes its way to the seventh plane in five different shapes and the forms of each shape is manifested over the body and the life-power gets transformed into Supreme Bliss at beck and call then the blessed man is made aware of the full process of manifestations with forms and bliss of the life-power in his body.
It can be tested in a very easy way, if the life-power is awakened in a man . If life-power is awakened in full measure in a man penetrating the gross physical sheath and manifesting over it, then all that is required is to ask him. “Well Sir, is it fact that if life-power in a man is awakened then the life-power is seen to jump like a frog in his physical sheath?” Before he answers the question it will come upon him and will be seen in manifestation over his physical sheath. It will be seen that his abdomen is throbbing, rather rising and falling very quickly and something in inside perforce is making its way with striking rapidity towards the cerebrum of the seventh plane expressing such impressions over the body as easily marked by one and all. Though the man is in a sitting posture he will be seen as if he is in dance like a frog . The supreme Cult (Brahmavidya) or the cult through which God is manifested itself over the body. This state in the physical sheath has been stated as a trunk of a tree.
Fenced around—signifies that the devotee must keep himself along in solitude for a period of time to pray and meditate with undivided and undiverted attention .
Goat—is the symbol of lust.
Cow—that is bull is the symbol of anger .
127). “At the first stage , the fence is an indispensable rquirement”.
It means to pray in concealment and solitude.
DIAMOND’S AFTER-DEATH SPIRITUAL ACTION THROUGH HIS BOOK
(Translated from our Bengali magazine ‘Manikya’)
Volume – 6, March, 2013
Seeing Diamond in dreams and reality after his death through Reading Centers
Seeing diamond in dreams in strange situation
Ramkrishna Bhadra of Supur, Birbhum district (West Bengal State, India) narrated his strange experience as such :
For a long time I have a practice of going to the reading center at Jiten Chatterjee’s (he was a regular Companion of Diamond in his life time) residence at Sriniketan. Everybody sees Diamond in their dreams except me. So I think that they lie.
However, once Snehamay (a reader of Diamond’s book) told me to narrate my dream on the day of a particular occasion at the reading place. So I felt a depression in my mind and thought that so many boys and girls see Diamond in their dreams but I do not. So I have made a promise myself that unless I do not see Diamond in my dream I shall not attend the occasion.
But the strange thing happened 2-3 days before the occasion. I dreamed that I was seated in a mango orchard. Bunches of fruits were hanging on my head. Being a student I was doing my homework in mathematics. The teacher with a smiling face was standing near me and asked, ‘How are you? Can you recognize me?’ I looked at him and with surprise saw that hewass Diamond (I saw his photo before). My dream was off. Thus God has fulfilled my desire and I feel myself to be a blessed one.
This incident happened with Tapan Ghosh who is a resident of Dharampur, Ilambazar of Birbhum District, West Bengal, India.
It is narrated in his own version:
At that time I was a boy of about ten years studying at class five in the school. Snehamay Ganguly was our teacher. He reads regularly Diamond’s book in different reading centers.
One day I heard that one of my friend Arabinda saw Diamond in flesh ad body. So I enquired about Diamond from him. He said, ‘you will also see him in dream and come to know who he. At this moment I shall not tell you anything.’
In that same night I had a dream. I saw that in our pond a huge gold fish was trapped in the net. I told my father, ‘Leave the fish.’ But he denied. At that moment the fish spoke to my father, ‘He has told the right thing. Leave me.’ Then I couldn’t resist me and so freed the fish from the net. I noticed that the fish had two legs like a human being. My father and others went away. It became night. The moon rose, but I stood still near the pond. Suddenly the fish appeared and told me, ‘Now you go home.’ The next moment the fish turned into a golden lotus and on it I saw Diamond seated on it. He told me, ‘still you are standing here? Go home.’ And he vanished. Again the same scene appeared. The moonbeams had fallen on Diamond’s face and being reflected had fallen on the pond water. It was a wonderful scene. At that moment it seemed to me as if it was day time. Then the whole scene vanished. I looked behind and saw that it was night. I came back home slept (within my dream), and dreamt the same scene. Then my actual dream was off. But strangely even after waking up I saw Diamond was standing outside my mosquito net. He again told me, ‘still you have not gone home? Go home.’ I shivered and got back my full consciousness.
[In Brihad Aranyak Upanishad it is mentioned that this person (Supreme Being) exists both in dream and reality. ‘To go home’ means that the seer lost his consciousness in dream and God-the-Preceptor fixed his mind in the body.]
After this dream I started dreaming Diamond almost every night. I should mention a special dream now.
One day teacher Snehamaya scolded me for being irregular in attending the reading center. He said that my dreams would stop due to my irregularities. I was scared and thought, then I might not see Diamond in dreams! That same night I dreamt that I was walking on a road and met Diamond. Snehamaya was also beside him. Bowing down to Diamond I asked him, ‘Will you not appear in my dream’? He asked, ‘why’? I said, Sir told me this as I don’t go to attend reading center regularly. ‘Diamond said, ‘Snehamaya has told you in wrong manner. My grace is the main thing. Then the question of reading comes. Unless I give anybody my blessings, nobody can see me even after listening to the reading of my book.’ Then and there Sir bowed down to Diamond. He told my teacher, ‘Bow down to him,’ and he did so. I felt a great un-comfort and woke up.
[Through this dream God-the-Preceptor taught both of us that without God’s grace nothing happens.]

[Excerpt of the letter written by Ananda Mohan Ghosh addressing to Arun Ghosh when Jibankrishna was alive. It was written when Arun Ghosh was stationed at Asansol of Burdwan District, West Bengal, India, as a Railway employee. Both of them were Jibankrishna’s companions.]
July 1, 1958.
Yesterday when I entered into Jibankrishna’s room I saw an old man with clean shaved head and his companion were seated. Jibankrishna was having a talk with them.
The discussion was on ‘As Bibhu (Paramatma or Supreme Being). He is in every being’ on the basis of this version Jibankrishna was saying, ‘But what is its proof? None can give it. But what has happened here? Here there are so many proofs. Thakur (Sri Ramkrishna0 by his grace has created these proofs here. Then looking at each listener of the room he asked individually, ‘Hey, you have seen me within you’? Everybody answered in affirmative manner. Then once he said, ‘I may be vanished with this physical body anytime. In this connection, we have the heard the same cases with Bapparao, Sri Chaitanya, Mirabai and lastly Trailanga Swami. But those are myths. Perhaps once it happened in the world and in connection with it such myths are being created. But those about whom I have mentioned all-had individualistic austerities. It cannot happen in case of individualistic austerity. Unless universal austerity is manifested it is not possible. But nothing can be said in a positive way.
After a while those new comers went away. Jibankrishna said, ‘Now we can be easy for talking, otherwise I have to talk with limitations with these types of new comers. I have to start everything with A, B, C.
Then once he said, ‘Whoever has come to me here, are carrying my image with you from the very birth and you are all ‘Nityasiddha’ (Perpetual fulfillment in austerity)’.
Ranjit asked, ‘If everybody carries your image within them, then why all are not seeing you within them’?
Jibankrishna said, ‘yes everybody has my image within them, but where it is dormant, it is not manifested’. In the gospel of Sri Ramkrishna it was read, Sri Ramkrishna was asking Sri M (Mahendra Nath Gupta, the writer of the gospel of Sri Ramkrishna), ‘Are you married’? Jibankrishna said, ‘what is the need of asking? Why cannot you prevent it’?
Mr. Singha Roy was seated on the cot. Jibankrishna asked him jokingly (Mr. Singha Roy was an old man and married), ‘Mr. Singha Roy, are you married’? Then he said, ‘Now a days, I do not ask anybody about his marriage, as there is no question about these things here.
In connection with some topics once he said, ‘There will be further development of this phenomenon in future.’
