Chapter 37

[Quite a number of people have seen Jibankrishna or Diamond in the sun in dreams and trances both in his life time and after death. Even after his death in 1967, people still are seeing him in sun through dreams and in trance. This phenomenon has been mentioned in different Upanishads, though the person in sun described by them remained unidentified. They have only mentioned in their hymns.

Then thousands and thousands of years rolled by, but that phenomenon remains a mystery to mankind and thousands of people in India have lost their eyes by looking at the outside sun to trace that person, But in vain!

After so long years Jibankrishna unveiled the mystery when the first man saw him in sun in his dream. Thereafter as days passed by, countless people saw him in sun through their dreams and still it is continuing. A very few examples are recorded to establish the truth described in Upanishads and discussed in the light of Jibankrishna’s versions on different dates with reference to hymns of Upanishads.]

Mrs. Kali Addy has narrated her trance and dreams as such:

1)      In the year 1990, one day during listening to the reading of Jiban Krishna’s (Diamond) book ‘Dharma-0-Anubhuti’ (Religion and Realization) at the Reading Centre of Beleghata, Kolkata, I saw in a trance that Jiban Krishna as seated in the sun like the posture in his photo.  The color of the sun was reddish like morning sun.  Then the trance was off.

[Isha Upanishad has mentioned about the person in the sun some thousands of years ago who is Parama Brahma or the Supreme self].

Mrs. Lila Dutta from Beleghata Reading Centre, Kolkata has narrated how she saw Jiban Krishna in sun in her dream.  Her narration is thus:

On July 14, 1998 I saw in my dream that a white horse was standing in front of my room.  Somebody told me to ride on it.  As soon as I rode on it with my grandson he began to run and stopped near the river Ganges.  It seemed to be the Ganges at Hardwar sacred place in northern India).  I was thinking that sun rise could be seen from here.  After a while I saw that the red sun was rising like a lentil size, but gradually it took the size of a large dish.  I saw that inside it Jibankrishna with bare upper body and wearing dhoti was seated with folded hands.  In front was seen floating lighting earthen lamps in innumerable number, and my dream was off.

[Horse – Life force, White – pure attributes, grandson – future, Sun – Insignia of divine knowledge, Jibankrishna in Sun – person in sun mentioned in Isha Upanishad- Parama Brahma or Supreme self.]


Jibankrishna in Sun in reality

Mrs. Kalpana Biswas from Beleghata Reading Centre has narrated how she saw Jiban Krishna in sun in reality.

On October 5, 2000 I was seated on a chair in my room with the intention of reading the Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna.  It was morning.  I looked at the sun and saw the shadow form of Jibankrishna within the sun.  Gradually that form became elongated and ultimately took the form of a point.  In my body I felt shivering.

Mrs. Averi Majumdar from Beleghata Reading Centre has narrated her dream and trance as such:

On May 26, 2003 I was seated in the evening for reading Jibankrishna’s book ‘Dharma-0-Anubhuti’.  While bowing the book I saw in a trance that Jibankrishna was seated in the sun with folded legs on a low table.  He was writing something on a paper and sometimes peeping below he again went on writing.  Here my trance was off.

Mrs. Sisubala Daw from Beleghata Reading Centre, Kolkata has narrated her dreams thus :

On November 7, 2000 I saw in my dream that I finished by bath and bowed to the Sun.  From behind somebody was reciting some Sanskrit hymns and I was following him.  The hymn was such :

‘…Suryamandalastha Purushah Jiban Krishna’ (The Purusha Jibankrishna in Sun).  Saying this hymn when I looked at the Sun I saw the bright face of Jibankrishna.  Then my dream was off.

[It revealed the hymn of Isha Upanishad where it is narrated:

Mrs. Anila Chatterjee used to listen to the reading of Jibankrishna’s Bengali book ‘Dharma-O-Anubhuti’ at Dashnagar Reading Center of Howrah town (West Bengal, India). Within a few days she started to have divine dreams, a few of which are narrated below :

One day I saw in my dream a rising morning sun and inside was seated a gentleman wearing white dhoti and covering his head with a part of it. I was wondering who he might be! But within a moment seeing his beard and mostache I recognized him to be Jibankrishna.

Ms Pallavi Raha from Ilambazar, Birbhum (West Bengal, India) narrated how she saw Jiban Krishna or Diamond in sun in her dream.

One night in the month of January, 2010, I saw in a dream that Jibankrishna was seated.  Suddenly a bright light began to emerge from his face.  It became brighter and brighter and ultimately the light was transformed into sun and inside that Jibankrishna’s face was seen.  Within the dream it appeared to me, oh, he is the man in sun! This was the first time I saw Jiban krishna in dream.

Mrs. Minati Das, a 60 years old listener of Barisha Reading Centre, Kolkata has narrated her dream thus :

On March 4, 1999, I saw that I was standing in front of a house and the waves of the sea were striking the house. It was then becoming dawn. I looked at the sky to see the rising sun. Suddenly I saw that the morning sun was rising and Jibankrishna was seated within the sun. I kept on looking at him and then my dream was off.

[Person in sun is mentioned in Isa Upanishad as Parama Brahma or the Supreme Self.]

Ms. Pratima Halder from Barisha Reading Centre, Kolkata has narrated a dream thus :

In the year 1999 I saw the sun just like a huge plate. Inside that a burning earthen lamp was set. The flame was high rising and inside the flame the face of Jibankrishna was seen.

During these dreams I had neither known him nor seen his photo. After seeing his photo I recognized.

Mrs. Santilata Dutta.

It was a day of the month December 1965.  In the night I was seeing in my dream that Jibankrishna was telling me, ‘Drown in the Ocean of Sachidananda (supreme self)’. I said, ‘I have no extra cloth’.  Then he said, ‘Here the cloth is not required’.

Then I saw the form of Jibankrishna in the sun, and here my dream was off.

[Upanishad has mentioned about the person in sun some thousands of years ago.  The same phenomenon has revived here.]

Renuka Das

Renuka Das from Andul,Howrah has narrated her dream thus;

Sometime in the year 2000 I saw in my dream that the sun dropped down from the sky and fixed on my thumb. I remembered that a man can be seen within the sun mentioned in Upanishads. Then I noticed that sitting within the sun Jibankrishna was reading with spectacles on his eyes. I got a great divine joy and then woke up.

[Atma or Soul is described like a thumb with divine light. The seer visualized Atma in symbol. Man in sun is described as Parama Brahma or Supreme Self in Upanishads. The dream establishes that fact.]

My first visit to Diamond (Jibankrishna)

In the year 1955-56 I first went to Jibankrishna. I used to go to one of my neighbour’s residence to listen to the reading of ‘Gita’. Ramchandra Das was my friend. Knowing my motive he told me, ‘I use to go a noble man at Keder Deuti Lane, Howrah. The Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna is read and interpreted there. If you wish, you can come there. Hearing this from him next day I along went there. Reading of Gospel was going on there. Ram and others were listening. I saw Jibankrishna seated on a cot. It seemed that he was Sri Ramkrishna. I bowed down to him and lost my sense. After a long time I got my sense back by his sweet voice’. ‘My boy, have you seen anything’? With a great astonishment I said, ‘ see, during my bowing down I saw a huge white stone idol of lord Sri Krishna with a huge garland of huge white flower hanging around his neck’. Hearing this he asked another person,’ Can you say what does it mean’? He answered, ‘He is in the class of pure devotion’.

Then Jibankrishna asked me, ‘ My boy, have you seen any dream’? I narrated a dream seen four years ago. The dream was thus: The portrait of Sri Ramkrishna was kept in between my expired wife and me. Both of us were seated. When I was going to touch my wife, she said, ‘He is here. Let us spend our days with him, and then she showed the portrait of Sri Ramkrishna. My dream was then off’.

After quite a few days I saw Jibankrishna in dream. Every day I used to go to him. I liked to listen to the reading of the Gospel and his yogic interpretation.

One night I saw in my dream that he was seated. He called me. As soon as I went to him, he put both his legs on my head. When I woke up I felt a great divine joy. In that very morning I went to him and narrated my dream. Hearing my dream he said, ‘ You have got parampada (Blessings of supreme self)’. The same dream I saw again in the year 1977. It was rather a repetition of dream.

After going to Jibankrishna we learnt about the true identity of Sri Ramkrishna. We came to know what was Sri Ramkrishna.

Once Jibankrishna suffered from Asiatic Cholera. The whole night Ram and I served him with bed pan, sometimes we were fanning him with a hand fan. Whenever he was waking up, he scolded us for fanning because he did never accept it.

In the morning he repeatedly said about our trouble, but never said about his own physical trouble.

85.     4th January, 1976.  Place:  The Agri-Horticultural Society of India, Kolkata .In reality during this time the seer was the in-charge of the Society. The flower show was going on and heavy work pressure  was persisting on me, but in spite of that I had an early morning dream : Someone had come from Jamshedpur accompanied by another unknown person. That first gentleman was explaining to me about Satchidananda stages and cited the example of Anandamayee Ma.  Losing my patience I said -what ‘bliss,bliss’ you are talking about? This is ‘Sat’, which is transformed into bliss in the cerebrum through Yoga. We have met such person in our life whom thousands of people have seen in their dreams’. While talking, I realized that I had lost my own sense and had been transformed into the form of my Holy Ghost (Diamond).  At the same time with a jerking of my head I had fallen into Samadhi. But even at this Samadhi stage I was hearing faintly the conversations and a perpetual bliss covered my whole body. But very shortly as soon as I got back my consciousness, I realized – Oh! This is becoming an outward show! But I became incapable of controlling myself. The gentleman with a great astonishment continued to watch me. Here the dream went off.

[Even after the dream with a heavy work load the seer enjoyed such bliss throughout the day. The blessings of the Holy Ghost is pouring on the seer]



86.     5th January, 1976.   Dream at noon:  I had been transformed into a 5-6 years old boy and seen myself playing cricket with my friends of the same age group.

[The dream indicates that the seer’s behavior will be like a boy as Sri Ramkrishnadeva says, ‘Iswar is alike a boy’ i-e, the attributes of Iswar (God) have become prominent in the seer.



87.     8th January, 1976.   Early morning dream:  Someone with folded hands was paying

homage to me and  my head suddenly began to jerk due to the exertion of the life force within the body . With this Jerking I woke up and noticed that my head was still shaking.

[The dream indicates that to the seer there is no difference between dream and waking condition .]




88.       9th January, 1976.

Early morning dream:  Some Vaishnabas were seated in a place discussing about Diamond ( Jibankrishna) among them . I was only listening to them without making any comments. At this moment one companion of Diamond named Biswanath Chatterjee began to tell them about Diamond and the dream was off.

[The dream gives some indication that in future Jibankrishna philosophy will be spread among the people irrespective of cast and creed and religions. Though it happened in his life time, now this is spreading recently to a large extent.]




89.     11th January, 1976.

Early morning dream:  A huge building was seen on a vast land and Diamond was seated on its first floor . I was also seated in front of him.  Diamond seemed to be in a very joyous mood and discussion were going on among us . Suddenly I noticed that many ladies were seated near him for listening to his advices. I took my mouth near the ear of Diamond and said that lots of ladies were seated nearby. But he did not give any importance to my remarks and continued to be seated with a smiling face.

I again said, ‘but is it not following the old tradition’? He said, ‘It matters nothing’.

Then I asked, ‘well, you have discarded the term ‘Netaresam’(not for all), but it is seen that this spiritual development does not follow in every body, although your image  is within every human body, but in a dormant condition. So why this is not manifesting’? Then he told me many things, the sum and substance of which revealed to me that gradually and slowly the brain power of human race would be developed and his image would bloom accordingly within the human body.

However, after all these conversations, I had in my mind, Oh! When these opportunities have come, I should not miss it, I should tape all these words uttered by Diamond’. So I took a tape recorder kept in my custody and noticed Sri Indranath Mukherjee (Diamond’s companion) sitting nearby. I told him, ‘I shall keep the recorder behind you and tape all his conversations so that it is not visible to him .’ With these words I thought that the batteries should be changed and so I opened the recorder, putting new batteries in proper place . But as soon as I wanted to tape Diamond’s words, the tape did not work. ‘Oh sheet’! with these words and with great annoyance I left that place . Then I went to a known person named ‘Ajit’, took meal and again returned to the previous house, but in another block where Diamond was present. I spent some time with Diamond. Here the dream went off.

Again I fell asleep and dreamt the same house where I saw many devotees sitting there. When I described my previous dream to them, one of them made a comment, ‘the dream indicates the condition of  Indranath Mukherjee’.

In the same dream the scene again changed –I had gone to my native place, Santipur. There I went near my house. There were buildings all over, but surprisingly without any human being. It seemed to me that the whole world was without any human being, and I was the only one person in the whole world.  Unmindfully I was roaming here and there continuously singing on the name of ‘Jibankrishna’ in the tune of ‘Baul’ song. The meaning of the song was thus—‘Jibankrishna pervades everywhere and everything’. With this song I was merged into a perpetual bliss and it seemed to me as if the song was enveloping throughout the universe.   The song continued for a long time and then the dream went off. While awakened I noticed that tears were pouring on my cheeks, the body became half paralyzed. But overcoming all these I got up from the bed.

[The 1st scene indicates that the Holy Ghost removes all the barriers. Second part indicates that many obstacles may come in future.

The 2nd scene indicates also the future scene of the world, where ultimately the philosophy of Jibankrishna will dominate everything and also the life of the seer will be dedicated only for Diamond.

(It came true in the long run. The seer recorded Jibankrishna’s sayings and many other aspects with publication of many books and in spite of many obstacles he could overcome all the hazards.)]



By Diamond picked up in the street

(Henceforth  Shri  Ramkrishna  will be  spoken  of  as

Thakur” when required  as  it is so  done in the  Gospel )

237)     “Then,  after  the  feast,  follows  sleep”

Sleep—signifies “Samadhi” or transformation of life-power into God, both with attributes and without attributes.

238)       “When  a  daughter-in-law  in  a  family  conceives,  the  mother-in-law

lessens the  household  work  of  the  daughter-in-law.  At  the tenth

month  of  conception  there  remains  no  work  for  her.  When  the

baby  is  born,  the  mother  is  at  absolute  rest.  All  she  has  got  to

do  is  to  tend  the  new-born  baby”.

(a)   To conceive—here represents God’s emanation from the body.

(b)   Daughter-in-law—is the form of God as seen in the fourth sheath or the sixth plane.(c)©    Mother-in-law—represents body.

(c)   To lessen the household work—is to collect and get the life-power transformed and fixed in the sixth plane.

(d)   At the tenth month—means the entrance to the seventh plane—when God’s light is seen further on when the glorious sun is seen behind a silken screen.

(e)   The baby—represents Atma—God in the seventh plane.

(f)   Only to tend the baby—means to have God unfolded His mystery and characteristics in various sportive forms in the seventh plane. Principally the sportive forms of God may be divided into five chapters :–

(i)    God—Atma ;

(ii)   The universe  is  in  God

(iii)   God, the  Universe,  turns  into  a  Seed—an  Atom ;

(iv)   God, the   Atom, is  but  a  Dream ;  and

(v)    The  Dream  vanishes  and  there  remains  no ego-con-sciousness.

239)     “When  a  well  is  dug”

It is spoken of the body where a well is dug. In the well God is seen in the form of transparent water. The water of well is transformed into vapour. The vapour penetrates the body and makes God and body separated. In the end it penetrates the sound also. These penetrations of body and sound express and manifest their signs over the body and they are not only seen but they are heard also.

When the vapour penetrates the body, the head keeps on swinging from left to right to left and a ‘cling’ ‘cling’ sound is heard. It is like to sound of a dries-up cocoanut or a ripe betel-nut in a shell.

When the vapour penetrates the sound (Nad) in the end of the seventh plane, the head will keep on swinging onward and backward. It is exactly like a big chunk of ice sinking and floating in a vast sheet of water. Then the chunk sinks and no-ego-consciousness remains.

Another striking feature is that if any blessed man has retained all these realizations in his body, then if anybody else speaks out all these before him them all the outward manifestations shall come upon the body of the retainer and they cannot be keep in concealment. The supreme Culture—Brahma Vidya—no sooner then will be heard, will express itself over the body of the retainer, as it is God’s sports in the body. If the body does not respond at the mention of the name of Brahma Vidya, then it is to be understood that the man has not attained it.

240)     “Afterwards  I  told  Keshab,  “Why  do  you  say  such  things  so  often.

“O  God,  what beautiful  flowers  Thou  hast  made!  Thou  hast  created

the  heavens,  the  stars,  the  oceans  and  so  on”?

The  speaker speaks out to evince that his mind is roaming in the outside world and his life-power is not transformed into God, and it is not in the body, i.e., he not a Yogi.

Seeing Diamond in dreams and reality after his death through Reading Centers Chapter 8

I saw Jibankrishna in dreams without seeing his photo through Reading Center

Mrs. Madhuri Devi’s narration :

It was sometime in the year 1979. One day I went to Belur Math (Howrah district, West Bengal, India) and after listening to the stotras (devotional song in Sanskrit) in the evening I came out and suddenly felt a trance like sensation. It seemed to me as if I was alone there, no trace of any human being. Then I saw Sri Ramkrishna standing there with the book ‘The Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna in his hand. He was asking me, well, you worship so many deities, but beside your house there is a Reading Center and you don’t go there’! Suddenly I got back my sense and saw the crowd around me.

Even after this realization I could not go to the Reading Center.

Then it happened one day that I went to listen to the devotional songs at a Doctor’s house near our residence on one Sunday as usual. There I listened to the reading of Jibankrishna’s (Diamond) Bengali book ‘Dharma-O-Anubhuti’ (Religion and Realization in English version) and the Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna’ and became impressed by the reading of Radharaman Chatterjee.

Being introduced with him I came to know that he used to read every Friday evening at the residence of Krishna Mohan Banerjee just beside our residence. Hence forth I started going there every Friday.

Then one day I saw in my dream a gentleman sitting beside my bed, though there was no conversation. His body color was reddish. Then my dream was off.

Next time when I went to the Reading Center, I saw the photo of Jibankrishna and recognized that I saw him in my dream.

[The seer thus got Jibankrishna as her God-the-Preceptor.]

Mrs. Kalyani Bhaduri from Salkia, Howrah narrated her experience thus :

After listening to the reading of Jibankrishna’s (Diamond) Bengali book ‘Dharma-O-Anubhuti’ (Religion and Realization in English version) at the Reading Center of Krishna Mohan Banerjee I saw a dream. It is thus :

Sri Ramkrishna was standing beside my bed and the reader Radharaman Chatterjee was notating a garland of stone pebbles.

Then one day I again saw in my dream that Sri Ramkrishna and Swami Vivekananda were having conversions sitting beside my bed.

In another dream I saw a very tall, healthy gentleman coming near me pointed towards my lower abdomen said, ‘Here in this place when the water of Alek creeper falls it grows as tree.’ Then my dream was off.

Later on after seeing Jibankrishna’s (Diamond) photo I recognized him to be the same man.

[To see Sri Ramkrishna is to see incarnation of God, Swami Vivekananda is the symbol of Rajyoga and in the lower abdomen Atma or Soul in seen as water. And as a result of listening to Jibankrishna’s book the seer gets him as God-the-Preceptor.]
