Chapter 37

Unity in diversity is the reality

July 27, 1959

In the synopsis of his book ‘Buddhism and Vedantism’ Swami Vivekananda Compared both so wonderfully by his genius which was not done by anyone up till now. He shows – Buddhists are saying ‘Variety’ and this is Truth, which means a human being – individually without even taking into account his selfhood – The Truth. Then what a man will do? Will he go out to conquer the world?

And then the Vedantists are saying – Those varieties which you are seeing outside, are nothing but illusions – short-lived, apparent, merely shade. Inside there is only ‘One’ and that is the Truth.

Now our question to them is this – who is that ‘One’? There will be no answer. So what God is showing us here? Oneness in varieties and that oneness is neither imaginary nor judiciary. This oneness is established here encircling a living human being and will continue in future. My form is manifested among myriads of people. Then what is the meaning? In the spiritual world we are not in existence, but you, though outside we are many. This is the Reality and Truth which myriads of people are experiencing. So Buddhists’ ‘Varieties are Truth’ and the Vedantists’ imaginary ‘One’ does not stand.

What happens after visualizing God

July, 1959.

Well, what happens to a man after visualizing God? After visualization he is transformed into God. What is the proof? Upanishads have mentioned, ‘He will be manifested within the human race’. Here this proof is established when you are seeing me within in dreams, trances, meditations and in reality. Then you see, if you go back to 3500 years, all the Great Prophets have mentioned only about visualizing God, but such phenomenon of being appeared within myriads of people irrespective of races, religions sexes and ages have not been seen in anybody’s life. Unless full-fledged visualization of God takes place within anybody, he cannot hide himself. He will be seen by myriads of people within the body.

Here this proof is first established.

Non-dualism is not an object of intellect

July, 1959.

According to Swamiji (Swami Vivekananda) about three thousand years ago the doctrine of non-dualism was established. He said, ‘This non-dualism became an object of intellect among the scholars’. According to him, the idea of ‘Non-dualism’ is the greatest and last among all thoughtful matters.’

But what has happened here? You all are seeing me in dreams, trances etc. This is not a thoughtful matter, it is reality, and then why should I term it a ‘Doctrin’?

Swamiji has mentioned that the idea of ‘Non-dualism’ is only for intellectual persons. They can only conceive it, while other common people live their lives with dualism, and sometimes they become mad by not conceiving this Non-dualism.’

Here in our case this Non-dualism is manifested among common people. Again, according to Swamiji ‘Those who have conceived Non-dualism are lucky. Without being void of any prejudice he cannot conceive it. ’But here we are seeing just the reverse, because being full of prejudices you are seeing my form within you.

Dualism is the cause of all hazards

August 6, 1959.

‘He becomes intermingled within everything’, now who is ‘He’? Nobody could prove it since time immemorial. So this ‘He remains hazy till now, as a result, this has produced harm to mankind. Yet, there is no end of searching this ‘He’. Now this search is completed. This is not ‘He’ this is ‘I’ and this birth right is given to everybody by God. We are seeing now the form of a living human being – it is my form – being one within everybody. This ‘I am one in all’ is announced by you not by me. Otherwise who is ‘He’?

For all these reasons Brihad Aranyaka Upanishad has mentioned, ‘Dualistic people are like the sacrificed animal of ritualistic works’, this means they could not eliminate animal passion.

Once it was shown to me in a dream that two would not exist. Only one will exist. At that time I thought that Thakur (Sri Ramkrishna) would exist. But later on I saw and understood that not he but I would exist. This means dualism will be eradicated and Non-dualism will be established. Only ‘One’ will exist within each human being and that ‘one’ is my form.

My first meeting with Jibnkrishna

Sibendra Nath Gupta

It was the month of April –May, 1967. With my brother like Raghunath Sen I went to meet Jibankrishna in his residence at Howrah. As soon as I stood near the door, with a heartily welcome sitting on his cot he called me and made me sit on his cot. What a sweet and soft welcome it was! I was overwhelmed with charm. Putting his hand very affectionately on my back he said, ‘I have read your book on ‘Vaisnav dhara’ (A book on Vaisnav religion literature) Kabyer dhara’ (A book on literature of Vaisnava religion). It was written with a great dedication and regard. Then with a great ectasy he recited a vaisnava song. After his ectasy was subsided he said, ‘You know that on every Vaisnava song yogic interpretation can be given as it was possible in case the sayings of Sri Ramkrishna Deva.’ Hearing his words a new door of my mind cods opened yes, I have never thought of this side! What an marvelous outlook he has got! It was charmed so much.

After a while the reading of the Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna started as he gave the instruction. Hearing this I was drowned into an unknown world I have heard and read the Gospel, but never I got such concentration. It might be due to his company.

It seemed to me as if every particle including roof, cot, pictures and floor was listening to this reading and interpretation and I was merged with them. My concentration reached to such an extent that everything around me was silent but was lively. It seemed to me that this silence was infinite which was bringing on echo in my heart.

After a while breaking the silence a voice penetrated my ears and it was so familiar. Addressing me as if Jibankrishna was telling me what happened now in your mind was the spiritual oneness with God and all His creations that means a great change happened with you.’ Getting back my sense I noticed that Jibankrishna was in Samadhi (Profound meditation merged into God). I could not say how long it was, Wherever I was fixing my eyes I could only see his form. Just at that moment it flashed in my mind that Radha also had the same realization of seeing lord Krishna everywhere wherever she was looking (In Vaisnava literature it was written), and then she said these words.

‘I was feeling infinite divine joy as wherever I was fixing my eyes, I was seeing Krishna’.

Chapter – 55

Realization  on  the  identical  state  of  life  and  death

252)    20th, August, 1977,  Saturday.

Early morning dream:  My father (Amrita by name) had expired . But I remained calm. He was taken to the burning place without any ritualism. After a while I saw a room full of devotees of  Jibankrishna having discussions on spiritualism and my father was also present there listening to the discussions with full concentration . I went on thinking—‘Oh! He is not dead at all, because there is no difference between life and death!’ Here the dream went off.

The dream indicates the spiritual state of the seer thus :

(1) Ultimately the feeling of non-difference of life and death will be eliminated from the mind of the seer;

(2) Again quite a number of devotees are seen in dream which had been explained by Jibankrishna that this increases the brain power . But this is not reacting at all in the mind of the seer. He wants to be always observer and nothing else .Moreover, the brain also comes in equilibrium condition with this type of realization for further development.

Awaiting  Holy  Ghost

253)   Between 20th August and 27th August, 1977.

In one early morning I had a dream thus—I had gone to Jibankrishna’s residence at Kedar Deuti Lane, Howrah. But he was not there, so I went on waiting for him and at this moment the dream went off.

The dream indicates one thing that the seer may have to spend his whole life with the Holy Ghost.

Obtaining ‘Chapras’(Badge)

254)    27th August, 1977, Saturday.   In reality I was returning from Ranchi by train and had this dream in the train: A long paper with margins was seen before me. Nothing was written on the above portion. At the lowest part a sentence was written—‘Once if it is said that God is within the body, then and there it will act’. Then I noticed that all the passengers were changed into devotees of Jibankrishna. Gopal Chandra Roy and Anath Mondal along with Arun Mukherjee were singing the song ‘Brahmanandang…….etc.’ (Great divine joy of Brahmahood or Supreme Self) and beside them Dhiren Mondal was having spiritual talks with somebody near my ears. Then I woke up.

This dream shows the same realization noted in Bengali book ‘Dharma o Anubhuti’by Jibankrishna, where he has written—This chapras or badge  is obtained and is shown on paper in writing. It means the seer will have the power of preaching. But the seer does not want it.

Revelation  of  the  spiritual  condition  of  the  seer

255)    1st September, 1977, Friday.

Early morning dream:  A well known person, named Sudhangshu (Expired two months back) had come to meet me. After some conversations, I asked him, ‘Have you dreamt anything’? He answered, ‘I have dreamt Lord Shiva has come to the head shedding tears from his eyes’. Hearing this I said, ‘Good dream. It means that a man is transformed into Shiva (One) and shedding tears means shower of God’s grace.

Then I began to describe how Atma or Soul is seen in the cerebrum; how the whole universe is seen in the cerebrum, etc, etc. When I was narrating these, I was feeling very confident.

Afterwards Sudhangshu went out for having food and I waited.

Meanwhile a devotee, Arun Ghosh came there with a smiling face and said,‘You are saying all these! You will get addicted if you continue to say all these’. But I took it very casually and ignored the comments. The dream went off.

[Sudhangshu means Moon which illuminates like honey .The truth is illuminated like honey. Truth means the spontaneous revelation of Self in a human body which was narrated by the seer to Sudhangshu.]

[After 28 years in October, 2005, a new meaning flashed in the mind of the seer thus : All the works i.e., compilations, publications on Jibankrishna may one day will be realized and illuminated among human race establishing peace in their minds.]

Revelation of dispassionate condition of the seer

256)    3rd  September, 1977, Saturday, Place :  Makardah . Early morning dream: A spiritual discussion was going on in a house among the devotees of Jibankrishna. Late night it was finished. While on the way of returning home, I saw no vehicles on the road and waiting for the transport it was 12 o’clock at night . I was tensed thinking how I could return home. So I again came back to the same house and saw some devotees like Indranath Mukherjee, Barendra Nath Mitra and many others. Mr. Mitra asked me, ‘When you fell in such a tensed situation, did you

call God’? I exclaimed, ‘So what! Falling in danger why should I call God? I never did in my life, not even now, though what will happen in future, I don’t know. Will you call God only when you fall in distress’? The dream then was off.

The dream here reveals that the seer is dispassionate about everything showing his mental makeup at the same time.

Place  :—Temple  of  Dakshineswar .

(Henceforth  Shri  Ramkrishna  will be  spoken  of  as

Thakur” when required  as  it is so  done in the  Gospel )

451)                       “Let you turn into gold by once touching the Philosopher’s stone ; then you may

remain buried underground for thousand years and after that when you are taken

out you will remain gold”.

Gold—represents God—-Atma in body.

If God out of grace once emanates from the body in full measure and is seen in the seventh plan then He will never come back again into the bondage of the body.

If Supreme Culture is once attained then it does never get extinct. It is sheer God’s Grace and God’s grace is perpetuated.

452)                          “Milk is to be kept in a quiet place, then it will set

into curd, and butter is to be churned from it”.

Milk—represents blood of the body.

In a quiet place—means withdrawing one’s mind from the world and keeping it confined within body when mind will be quiet.

Set into curd—means when blood in the body will be in a balanced condition and at rest. Human body gets these conditions when God emanates from the body.

Now churning rod is required for getting butter.

Life – power is the churning rod.

Butter – represents God in the seventh plane.

Life-power churns the body and gets herself transformed into God in the seventh plane.

“Then the venom of the sanke falls down in the skull”. —Shri  Ramkrishna.

If milk is churned into butter within twenty five years of age  then and then alone a man gets butter.

“You have got to pay in full measure, if you want to purchase a commodity in full measure”.

—-Shri Ramkrishna.

Butter—Atma—God emanates in full measure when this human body is in a full-bloomed youth. A man’s full-bloomed youth is twenty five years age. This calculation has been left by Thakur.

“If  a song urges vehemently for his share on his father and mother, then the parents in consultation with each other give out his share some two or three years beforehand”—Shri  Ramkrishna.

‘Father’—is God, the Absolute, in an unseen and unattached condition in the body.

‘Mother’—is this human body.

God, the absolute, through this body manifests Himself and He is seen.

The fixed age is about twenty five years. Thakur got the Divine Mother (Atma) between the age of twenty two and twenty three. If two or three are added to twenty two or twenty three then it becomes twenty five. The exact time is twenty four years and eight months.

A man obtains his God-the-Preceptor at the age of twelve years and four months. At the age of twenty four years and eight months he gets and sees Atma, God, in the seventh plane. It takes twelve years and four months in the body for God’s manifestations and realizations in multifarious

conditions in the process of transformation of life power into God.

453)                    “He was with his bent-down head”.

This bent-down head signifies that life-power has concentrated and made her passage through the medulla oblongata to the cerebrum and thereby the nerves there have been slackened, so the head is bent down.

When Buddha used to be out with his begging bowl for alms, he was found to be walking with his head fixing his eyes on the toe of his bent-down feet. It was the sign that his life-power entered the seventh plane slackening the nerves of his neck.

Mrs. Asharani De from Beleghata: Reading Center has narrated a few dreams

1) On March 22, 1995 I dreamed that I had gone to the room of my eldest son.  A girl from the adjacent room said that my son’s wife was not in the room.  At this moment I saw a photograph of Jibankrishna.  Suddenly it seemed to me that the photo became alive, and Jibankrishna was seated with two legs hanging. A girl named Khuku (a listener of the Reading Center) was moving his two legs in backward direction.  Seeing this I was feeling hurt and thought that he was feeling pain.  At this moment my dream was off.

[Both picture and living form have the same spiritual effect.  The seer also has grown a great passion for God-the-Preceptor.]

2) After a few days I dreamed that Jibankrishna was lying on my cot, as if in the dark.  Looking at his face I asked, ‘you have lied in the dark!  Let me open the window’. But he prevented me.

Then he put off his shirt and kept aside.  I saw a sweet in his pocket.  I took it out and ate with great satisfaction.  I told him, ‘I ate your sweet.  Let me bring another one, but he interdicted me.  Here my dream was off.

[Sweet Symbolizes brain cells.  This belonged to Jibankrishna which means that the seer will have spiritual realizations and austerity through the body of God-the-Preceptor.]

3) Once during this time my bone at the waist region was fractured by falling.  I had to spend in bed rest condition for long days under the instruction of doctor.  I was feeling helpless as I could not go to the Reading Centre.

One day at about 10-00 A.M., I was lying with closed eyes and fell in trance.  I felt that somebody was knocking at the door.  But I had no power to get up.  So I was waiting for the guest and then felt that somebody entered into the room.  I tried to trace who the guest could be.  After a while I clearly saw that Sri Ramkrishna was standing there.  Seeing him I felt a great joy in spite of my physical ailments.

4)After a few days I saw in a dream that three Rishis (vedic sages) had gone to some sacred places.  One of them returned and wanted a container from me.  After searching I gave him a tea cup though its holding ring was broken.  He took it and began to repair.  At this moment my dream was off.

[One strange incident happened within a few days.  My fracture cured very fast beyond the expectations of the doctors. Actually through spiritual power the physical ailments are cured though spontaneously].

Mrs. Bimala Prabha Bhattacharya from Beleghata Reading Centre has narrated a few of her dreams.

Dreams seen in the year 1985.

1)I saw a huge ocean with high rising waves as if these were touching the sky and breaking into pieces.  One golden color flower with three petals was floating on the water and on it I saw this man Jibankrishna in meditation.  My dream was off.

[Ocean – Sachhidanda Ocean or Ocean of God, three Petals – three nerves e.g. Ira, Pingala, Susumna moving from first plane to the seventh plane or cerebrum, golden color symbolizes Atma or Sour, Flower in the seventh plane which is the place of God].

2) I saw a room on a high base.  Inside the room a beautiful white bed was placed on a cot and I was sleeping on that bed with mosquito net.  It seemed that the net was made of silver and it was raining all round the mosquito net.

Sudhir Babu was reading the book of Jibankrishna on the corridor and it was also raining heavily at that place. Suddenly I heard an oracle, ‘why are you sleeping, get up and listen to the reading.’

[White bed – the purity of the body; Rains – grace of God; Mosquito net – Protecting the body from evils; the oracle – voice of God to alert the seer].

Chapter 17

One’s dream is the lesion of others.

September 13, 1955.

Souren Bhattacharjee (To Jibankrishna) – I saw in a dream that I was standing at the door of our house, and you were coming hastily on Kali Banerjee Lane. Then seeing Bankim Babu at the residence of Vijay Guru’s son Patit Chatterjee you were chasing him with shoes. Bankim Babu starting running away.

Jibankrishna- This does not mean to chase not only Bankim Babu but it indicates you also, because still you go to their house. This is your lesson also.

Meaning of seeing posters in dream

September 13, 1955.

Mrityunjay Roy (To Jibankrishna) – About two days ago I saw in a dream a large portico and a beautiful carpet was laid on it. On it were seated many devotees and you were laying beside me. Waking up in the morning I saw none there. On one corner of the room large heap of posters were kept. Coming outside I saw that Anath was standing outside holding a large quantity of posters. Then entering again into the room Souren was standing near the heap of the posters. He told me, ‘Remove that wooden plank and see’. So I removed the plank and saw that Goddess Kali was laying in flesh and blood. I woke up and again in sleep I saw that leaning against a railing of the corridor of a big two-storied house you were standing. Calling me you said, ‘Mrityunjoy, will you take me to the Kali temple of Dakshineswar’? Then you got down with a married woman. After walking a distance you were transformed into very old man. Then boarding both of you on a Rikshaw I followed you. At this moment my dream was off.

Jibankrishna- It is a good dream, though Vidyamaya (pure soul woman) has not yet left you. Those posters which you saw are the parts of the cerebrum. It means innumerable people will achieve God-the-preceptor and the greatness of God will have great publicity in future.

Symbolic separation of Soul or Atma and body

September 14, 1955.

Khitish Roychoudhury (To Jibankrishna) – I saw in my dream that a large snake opened its hood. Then a man came and by a trick held the tail of the snake and twisted in such a way that the snake became weak. Then he smeared the snake from tail to head. As soon as he dragged the tail, the whole skin were separated from the body.

Jibankrishna – The dream showed that your soul and body were separated through symbolically.

Chapter 36

The meaning of Self – Realization

July 24, 1959.

The meaning of Self-Realization is that I am not body but the Atma or Soul. Now come to Thakur. He was interpreting it as such. But after this realization did he take food or didn’t? If that was not so, its proof would have been established that I am the Atma or Soul, not the body.

What is the proof here? You are bearing the proof that I am Atma, whenever you are saying, ‘We are seeing you in our cerebrum,’ and at that moment where you are seeing me? In the spiritual state. I am becoming your causal body. I am the container and at the same time I am the container

Probably you are thinking that I am too clever! But not at all, who has proved this thing? Am I? No, the human race is proving it. The human race bears the truth, but in their (Past ages) case, who bears the truth? I am saying and you believe it’ – here it ends the matter.

A new Religion is established by seeing Diamond within the body

July 24, 1959

Sri Ramkrishna says, ‘What is self-knowledge? To grow a sense about the separation of soul and body’. In this contest Diamond said – This means that I am not body but the soul. Well after having this sense whether he ate or drank? No! He did all these things of course if all these activities were checked, then the proof was established.

But here you see, whether I am the Soul, you are bearing the proof, whenever you are saying, ‘we have seen you within our spiritual bodies.’ I am becoming your causal body. Here I am the container and at the same time content. SO who are bearing the proof of my self-knowledge? Not I, but the human race of the world. The human race bears the Truth, but in their case, who bears the Truth? ‘I am saying and you believe it’, and thus far.

Vedanta is the practical and the Universal Religion

July 25, 1959

When a man goes to bed at night after meditation, there is a spontaneous hope that I should get a realization at night – just to get a rosy to-morrow. Those who live with this future, they are human beings. Those who live with past, they are dead. Past is a by-gone chapter. Whatever you have got is all right, but fix at more to get, not at the past.

To see Diamond within the body is the practical Religion

July 25, 1959

What is happening here is neither knowledge nor devotion. If you term it as Religion, then it is Practical Religion – where after seeing a living human form within the body we are tallying outside. This tallying outside is a serious matter and it is a continuous phenomenon. Many things I cannot expose to you unless these manifest outside. If say, this will be merely imagination. Still you see so many things have manifested in my individual life. So far which has manifested is real in our life.

Here, that saying by the Vedic sages ‘He is One’ is also drowned. The Truth is ‘One’, and that was unknown in the past.

Religion is not based on faith – Religion is based on realization with proof

July 26, 1959

The Vedic sages said, ‘Atma (Soul) can be seen’. Then thousands and thousands of years passed. Coming to modern period we find that Thakur (Sri Ramkrishna) said, ‘I swear that I have visualized God’. No proof is obtained in between this long period that anyone has visualized God with such concrete proof.

Now, in my case whether I have been transformed into Universal Soul with body is proved by the fact that myriads of people irrespective of religions, cast and creed, sexes and ages are seeing my form within their bodies. So my physical form is the form of Atma or Soul.

There will be no such individualistic austerity in full-fledge form, because we have crossed that zone and got Universal austerity. Then what remains there? A human being and that is you.

Now the question comes about ‘I am He’. Who is ‘He’? Have you seen that ‘HE’? Out of about 400 billions of people if only 3-4 persons saw that ‘He’, what matters to that! The rest of the world will believe that and what they will get out of it?

For so many years that ‘He’ was unknown. But now time has come to say that we have seen that ‘He’. He is in the form of a living human being. So that ‘He’ has become known to us now.

Biman Behari Sen

Charu Babu was working in my office. Form writers’ buildings Ashim Babu and from Fairly Place Hiru Babu used to come to Charu Babu. I heard several times from Charu Babu about Jibankrishna. But from Hiru Babu I heard details about Jibankrishna. When I asked Hiru Babu about my intention to meet Jibankrishna, he said, ‘Wait, first let me take permission from him’.

After a few days from the office I went with them to Jibankrishna. I was then Agricultural Commissioner of Government of West Bengal. He welcomed me and asked, ‘Have you seen any dream’? I narrated a few of my dreams. He said, ‘Put off your Coat. I did that. Then he said, ‘Put off your shirt.’ I did that. Again he said, ‘Put off your vest. See I shall wear you a towel, understand’? Saying this he showed me the towel held in his hands. I thought I would not fear that.

Going to Jibankrishna I had confusions about hearing the importance of dreams. I was thinking why he was giving such importance to dream! It was because I had the same ideas as others had. But one thing charmed me and that was his great love without any self interest and his affectionate voice. After meting him I had numerous  dreams and among the two I am narrating.

1.       In the first of 1958 one noon time after lunch I was lying on my bed in a holiday.  I had a dream. In the dream I was asking myself, ‘Is it true whatever we see in dreams? I answered myself, ‘Yes, whatever we see in dreams’? I answered myself, ‘Yes, whatever is seen in dreams is true’. I had never seen such type of dreams. When I told Jibankrisna  about my dream he said, ‘Then the problem is solved. You could understand yourself. This is called self. Explanatory mind.’

2.       One night I saw in a dream that Jibankrishna was seated on one side of his Cot at his residence. I was also seated beside him. He was reading a book held in his hand. With a great eagerness I looked at him. Then he gave the book to me and the dream was off.

Chapter – 54

Establishment  of  the  realizations  noted  in

Bengali  book  ‘Dharma  O  Anubhuti’

247.  9th July,  1977. Saturday.

Early morning dream:   I was having a dream within a dream that I was narrating to some people about the phenomenon of visualization of God. Then my dream went off within my actual dream. Somebody of my house then said to me, “ While sleeping, why do you recite—Dharma-O-Anubhuti, Dharma O Anubhuti’(Jibankrishna’s Bengali book based on his personal spiritual realizations)? I answered something.

Then when I actually woke up I exclaimed, ‘Oh! I was dreaming so long’!

The dream reveals that the essence of the book ‘Dharma O Anubhuti’, i.e., the realizations of Jibankrishna will be revealed to a great extent within the seer as this was forecasted by Jibankrishna in the first dream after his comeback from his long detachment from Jibankrishna in his life time.

Austerity  of  the  Holy  Ghost  in  his  new  body

248 .   11th July,  1977.  Monday.

Early morning dream:  I heard that Jibankrishna had come to a certain place and within the dream it seemed to me that he was coming with a new body after his demise in the year 1967. Hearing this I was overwhelmed with joy, as if nothing was there to me except Jibankrishna. Thereafter I saw myself going to him with a heavenly joy leaving all worldly attractions. While going, on the way I saw Dhrien Mondal, a devotee was standing, as if he would also go to Jibankrishna. Being asked he answered, he would go the next day. But I did not wait and went forward thinking, oh! To-morrow he would have come and what he would be doing at this moment! With these thoughts I was becoming thrilled with joy and with this sensation the dream went off.

Instantly it appeared in my mind that once Jibankrishna said, ‘If Thakur (Sri Ramkrishna) comes now at Dakshineswar, what I shall do, you know? I shall run to him, hug his waist and shall not leave any more ‘. The similar sensation also existed within my mind for a long time. Besides this another indication appeared in my mind that a new phase of austerity will occur in Jibnakrishna through me.

Destruction  of  allurement  and  prejudice

249)    In between 11th July and 3rd August, 1977 .

The scene opened with a village road. I was walking on the road and saw a huge building. There was an automatic recitation of ‘Ramkrishna’ and ‘Jibankrishna’ within me. Then after crossing that building I reached near a pond.  When I was returning and came near that same building , somebody said , ‘A new floor was constructed in that building where a she-evil spirit stays. Hearing this I said with a challenging mood, ‘Where, let me see her’! But at the same time an automatic recitation of the name ‘Jibankrishna’ was going on within me. After quite a number of shouting that evil spirit came near the window. It seemed to me that as soon as I would look at her eye to eye, she would bring me under her control. So I fixed my eyes on her covering my eyes with a net and noticed that her eyes were glazing. At this moment the dream went off.

The dream reveals that during the austerity of a devotee so many allurements come to him but by the grace of God all are removed. These allurements may come in my life but with the grace of God I would overcome all hazards.

[In the long run so many hazards came in my life, but by the grace of God-the-Preceptor I was able to overcome.]

Indication  of  attainment  of  Universal  austerity

250)  30th July,1977. Sunday. Early morning dream: I saw a student named Janadeva. I had some conversations with him but could not be remembered later on. After he went away, it appeared in my mind that during my austerity in ascent ultimately I met Janadeva and here the dream went off.

Janadeva is another name of Ganesh the god in Hindu mythology who is known as donator in the attainment of austerity of the highest degree, and also god of mass population . Here the dream indicates that the seer will have attainment of Universal austerity in future.

Appearance  of  devotee’s  figures  before  eyes

251)   16th August, 1977. Tuesday.

At noon, in trance sometimes the figures of some devotees like Ramchandra Das, Binay Roy were appearing before my eyes. Again many unknown figures of human beings were appearing. After some time I got back my full sense.

This type of vision used to be experienced by Jibankrishna and was explained by him thus : ‘So long you have been seeing me within you, and now it is coming back in me, i.e., I am seeing you within me, which means the cycle is going to be complete now and I may have the controlling power in the spiritual world’.

447)                       “A  man  attains  devotion  and  knowledge”.

What is devotion and what are the realizations and manifestations of devotion in the human life and body?

(a)    It is to attain God-the-Preceptor first. Then life-power awakens. By awakening of life-power, devotion establishes itself in the body. It is but the beginning.

(b)    Establishment of devotion in the full-fledged form is to obtain the manikin form of God engaged in prayer by clasping his hands within oneself.

What is knowledge and how a man will know about attainment of knowledge ?

(a)      To see God in the seventh plane as shown by God-the-Preceptor is the first stage of knowledge.

(b)      ‘I am not this body but I am He—is the seconds stage.

(c)        The final stage of Knowledge is at the outset of Descent when it spontaneously bursts out “I am not Thou”.

448)                      “After attainment of knowledge and devotion a man may live in

the world and the world will not be able to tarnish him”.

Here it is spoken about Supreme Knowledge.

After attainment of Supreme Knowledge a man lives but he does not lead an ordinary man’s life. He

lives, he eats, he sleeps and by God’s commandment he becomes a “man-catcher” as Christ told Peter.

449)                          “The sticky milk of a Jack-fruit will not stick to one’s hand of

the jack-fruit is broken after rubbing one’s hand with oil”.

Oil—is the second symbol by which the Supreme Consciousness is revealed in the human body, it is so seen by a man that he is rubbing his body with mustard oil which has got a reddish yellow colour. The real ‘Supreme consciousness’, Chaitanaya, flares up in a flame of brilliant red light in the seventh plane.

‘Honey’ is the first symbol by which Chaitanya is represented.

Jack-fruit—represents this human body. A jackfruit has got several sheaths. This human body has got five sheaths and in these five sheaths God expresses Himself in several kinds of realizations.

Sticky  milk—is attachment to the world.

A man after attaining Supreme Consciousness may live in this world as his life of the liberated one.

450)                           “In a game of hide and seek, if the ‘granny’

is touched then one is safe”.

Game of hide and seek—is three qualities or strands (Triguna) known as Sattva, Rajas and Tamas.

Sattva—is represented by white colour and it means quietness or wisdom.

Rajas is represented by red colour and it means restlessness or activity.

Tamas is represented by black colour and it means lacking in alertness. It is inertia and dull.

Granny—represents God.

The three qualities or strands are but thieves in the game ‘hide and seek’ in the body as it is they who keep God (granny) hidden from coming within view.

A man must overcome these qualities or strands and then he shall be able to attain God in him—an

ever blissful state.

Jibankrishna in Sun

Mrs. Kali Addy has narrated her trance and dreams as such:

1)      In the year 1990, one day during listening to the reading of Jibankrishna’s (Diamond) book ‘Dharma-0-Anubhuti’ (Religion and Realization) at the Reading Center of Beleghata, Kolkata, I saw in a trance that Jibankrishna as seated in the sun like the posture in his photo.  The color of the sun was reddish like morning sun.  Then the trance was off.

[Isha Upanishad has mentioned about the person in the sun some thousand of years ago who is Parama Brahma or the Supreme self].

2)      I saw in a dream that I had gone to Brahmapur (Place of God or cerebrum or the seventh plane.  There were no wind, no sun.  I lied down there and felt sleepy.  Then within the dream I woke up and saw the picture of Jibankrishna as is seen on the cover of Jibankrishna’s book ‘Dharma-0-Anubhuti’.  I was having conservation with that picture.  I was telling him, ‘There was nothing here but within a moment all these houses, paths came up’!  The picture said, ‘There was a cemetery here previously.  Have you seen my temple?  See that temple’.  Then he showed me a white temple at a distant place.  I could only see the top of the temple.  Then that picture told me, ‘I live in that temple’.  At this moment my dream was off.

[The seer saw the person of Brahmapur.  This has been mentioned in Upanishads.  White temple is the symbol of pure body and the top is the seventh plane where God exists]

Mrs. Sandhyarani Pal from Beleghata Reading Centre has narrated a dream thus:

On July 5, 1999 at about 4/5 PM, I slept and dreamed a milky white light.  Then I felt a tingling sensation from my head to the naval, as if shocked by electric current.

Then I saw that Swami Vivekananda as having meditation sitting on a hill wearing a white dress.  Then I saw Jibankrishna.  He was also meditating though moving a bit.  He looked at me but did not talk.  He also wore white dress.  I appealed to him, ‘show yourself’.  Next I saw Sri Ramkrishna raising his right hand pointing upwards and in a posture of Samadhi.  I said to him, ‘oh Lord, show yourself, show yourself’.  At this moment my dream was off.

[Tingling sensation from head to naval indicates the descent of divine consciousness from cerebrum or seventh  plane to third plane of the body.  Swamy Vivekananda is the symbol of Raj Yoga, Sri Ramkrishna – Incarnation of God and Jibankrishna is God-the-Preceptor.

The seer is having Raj Yoga by the grace of God-the-Preceptor who is transformed into God the incarnation.]

Chapter 16

Instruction for performing meditation

September 10, 1955.

Rambhadra Roy (To jibankrishna) –A few days ago, I saw in a dream that somebody was telling me, ‘Go to Kashi.’

Jibankrishna – Kashi (Beneras) means the seventh plane of this body. You are instructed to meditate. Do it well for a long time, so that your mind reaches the seventh plane.

One’s divine dream is applicable to all

September 11, 1955.

Jibankrishna (To the listeners) Ratan (Das) came here in the morning. Last night he dreamed that both of us were seated face to face. At this moment one girl sat in between us, and as if Ratan touched her body. I was annoyed and lied down and told him, ‘Whatever I have given you I shall take it back.’ Then falling on my feet he began to cry. Seeing him in this condition I said, ‘well, this time I am forgiving you, but be careful.’

Narrating this dream Jibankrishna said, ‘This dream is not only for Ratan but applicable to everybody.’

Meaning of seeing dead persons in dream

September 11, 1955.

Khagendra Nath Ghosh (To Jibankrishna)- One night I saw in a dream that one of my boyhood friends (Dead) and I were roaming in the field of our primary school. Then being very tired both of us lied down on the floor of a room of our school after closing the door. The windows were also closed. Suddenly I noticed that somebody was opening the window from outside. I cried and at that moment I woke up.

Jibankrishna- Unless the body becomes pure one cannot see a dead person in dream and his name should be taken into account. The seer did not want to go outside out of fear which means, it is the fear for being stuck in the seventh plane and incapable of getting back. But my boys, you need not fear. Thakur (Sri Ramkrishna poured his grace upon you.

Khagen – In another dream I saw a shore of a river, and a tiger was staying there. But I was not afraid and caught him by a trap.

Jibankrishna- Tiger is the symbol of God-the-Preceptor. He was caught by you, and in addition you will have power like a tiger. Without a strong body this supreme cult cannot be achieved fully.

[Tiger eats flesh. In the same manner God-the-Preceptor eats the ego-conciousness of human being. For this reason tiger symbolizes God –the-Preceptor.]

God-the-Preceptor takes all responsibilities of a devotee

September 12, 1955.

Dhirendra Nath banerjee (To jibankrishna)- I saw in my dream that I had gone to the market with you. We purchased a huge quantity of commodities. But you paid for all commodities.

Jibankrishna- Market means this human life. To purchase commodities means to have austerities. I paid for everything which means I have taken all your responsibilities and you will have nothing to do.

Chapter 35

Universal Religion is the true Religion

July 14, 1959.

There is a traditional saying that a monk will not even see the picture of women folks. But, actually this could not materialize in the lives of those who mentioned it. Was it right? On the other hand they have made a barrier in the religious world. But in the lives of the Vedic sages or Rishis we do not find it.

An impossible thing was imposed on their lives and common people will think, oh, what a superiority they have! When we could not sacrifice wealth and woman, we cannot achieve religious life. They are superior and we are inferior!

But it will not be a religion which is confined within a single man. The true religion should be manifested in all. A family man will achieve a true religion, and the Sannyasis (Monks) will also have the same. There is no bar, as everybody is God. In a true religion a man becomes God. We are witnessing it here. There is no place for imagination here. Everybody realizes that all are one.

The eternal cravings of being united is fulfilled here. Many are one – this is the solution of maya (illusion). You lead a family life, be modest, otherwise you will have the sense of division. Don’t confuse the worldly life with this spiritual life. Everybody’s worldly life is different but the spiritual life is same. True Religion manifests in all. There is no value of Religion when it manifests in one person and not in commoners. For this reason I could not accept ‘Samadhi.’ When they were unable to contribute a new thing and gave a traditional thing to the world, it has no value, as it was already in existence. So what matters that!

None has said the right thing. A man is God, none has said that. This human being is transformed into God and the true Religion makes that. So far in individualistic austerity everybody made them superior, but the world gets no benefit out of that. Here we are seeing that everybody is same. Can you see what a wonderful phenomenon we have got here! You may not conceive it as with a single prejudice it is difficult to conceive it. The brain should be kept open.

All these anomalies are created by mixing the worldly life with the spiritual life. In the spiritual life everybody is Brahma or God. Live pure and simple life. There will be no barrier by living family life and whatever happens will occur spontaneously.

Individualistic austerity is a den of egoism

July 14, 1959.

See, I am having ‘Samadhi’ (Profound meditation being merged with the Supreme self) but I am saying that it is nothing, because it is confined only in me, not in you. There is no meaning of what will happen in a few. So I discarded Samadhi as well as all these individualistic austerities what has happened within me only. Everybody should taste it because all are same in the spiritual world. Well, now come to the point. Eliminate the names of each person who comes here. A common thing exists. That is Brahma. Here you are saying that it is Jibankrishna. What was there in old days? One was getting Samadhi, so you worship him. One was Go and all others were common or simply human beings. Here all are same.

What is Universal Religion

July 23, 1959.

Atma or Soul is inert. What a man does that happens. Had our phenomenon is incorrect this would have been stopped here. But that has not happened. It is progressing continuously. Do you know how cautiously I speak! As for example, you are having so diversified realizations, but I don’t come to know what is happening. When you say, then only I come to know and say, yes we have become one.

This human being is the truth. The vision of Atma or Soul is confined within a single man. That is individualistic. Now you come here and say after seeing me in dreams, ‘Sir, you are we are one.’ So the question arises now, what is the relation between mankind and me. We are all one and this is proved as all of you see me within. This is the real knowledge. Actually every man is Brahma or God which is shown here.

When such term ‘Brahma’ or God is used, a man will run after imagination. For that reason I always say that there is no place of imagination in my brain. A living human being is true. What we have achieved as truth is to become one. This cannot be termed as Religion. Swamiji (Swami Vivekananda) said in his Chicago lecture, ‘All religions are hypothesis,’ that means Religion is an imaginary thing. This is rather a cult. Even there is no proof of formless God (Nirguna Brahma), everything is within a human body. It has so immense and infinite power! See, long time back I made a long conversation for three hours with a gentleman, though he was not a living man. I couldn’t even guess that he was Kavir (A famous saint several centuries ago in India). Later on it flashed in mind, what a fool I was, that I couldn’t recognize him! Another example you can take into account in the era of Sri Ramkrishna. I am talking about the mother of Gopal who used to play with Gopal (Child Lord Krishna) in flesh and blood body. Then in Thakur’s (Sri Ramkrishna) life, when for a few days he used to play with Ramlala (Child Lord Rama).

In older days, all made so many imaginations about Religion. They saw only one side of a coin and paid no attention for another side. They have dealt with only the seed and did not see the vast side of it, because they could not conceive its vastness. Though they could not be blamed because they had no realizations.

Anil Kumar Mukherjee.

I am an ordinary man and heard that God is in the body.  Sri Ramkrishna said, ‘If God wishes then the soul will be liberated from the body, ‘But I never understood how this liberation would come in my life and what would be its final result. Sri Ramkrishna also said, ‘When one acquires a great urge for God then He can be achieved.’

Suddenly one of my friends told me, ‘Will you go to a gentleman? Every day the Gospel of Ramkrishna is read and he gives yogic interpretation.’

I agreed and said, ‘Go just now.’ So we went to Jibankrishna’s residence and saw that a large number of people inside the room were listening to the reading with rapt attention. Jibankrishna was seated on the cot. As soon as I entered he told me to sit and after listening to the reading for a period of time, I came back. While coming out he said, ‘Come again.’ From my friend I came to know his name as Jibankrishna. Since then wherever I was moving in my house I used to hear the reading of the Gospel and see his face infront of me. I could not understand why this was happening.

Next day I went to Jibankrishna and he asked me, ‘Hey, have you seen any dream’? I said, ‘Yes. The dream is such. I was seeing a big size crane with detached head and blood was oozing out of its neck. It was coming to me as if to grab me. I was benumbed with fear standing like a statute. Then in the twinkling of an eye I was that extending the two hands you were protecting me. I saw that your feet was on the ground and your head touched the sky.’ He was very happy hearing my dream. I understood that he is my savior as God-the-Preceptor.

Chapter – 53

Changes  in  the  spiritual  body

241 .  29th  April,  1977. Friday.

Early morning dream:   I was living on the top floor of a huge building. Sitting there I was detaching the coir from the coconut. I went on detaching and it was becoming smaller and smaller. I was keeping the coir beside as these would be burnt later on. Then I found a soft kernel and again was detaching it and finally found a very soft thing just like the soft kernel of a coconut. I went on observing it and finally woke up from sleep.

For a long time after awakening I felt that same changes inside my body had occurred and was passing through a divine joy. It means that my body has become more receptive for new and powerful realizations in future.

Confirmation  of  the  spiritual  realizations  and

austerity  within  the  body

242.  1st  June, 1977. Wednesday.

Early morning dream:  I saw some gentleman, and it seemed as if they were my students. Amongst them there were some old people. I was explaining to them, who is Preceptor and defined it at the same time. Then I asked them—‘What is God’? I myself answered and then narrated how God is visible. Everything I narrated with great confidence. Then they went away.

While narrating these, it was felt that all these happened in my body, that’s why I could explain these phenomena. After this I woke up from sleep.

The dream reveals that the seer has gained the power of transmitting the spiritualism in others, though his mind is not accepting this and moreover nothing is giving any impression to his mind. He wants only loneliness.

Revelation  of  a  huge  brain  capacity  and indication  of  attainment  of  Brahmahood or Godhood

243 .  7th  June,  1977. Tuesday.

Early morning dream:  A huge Hall was visible where many devotees of Jibankrishna were present. Only Arun Ghosh and Dhiren Mondal were remembered.

Then I saw that a huge size green coconut cut on the top was offered to me. I noticed that its size was bigger 2-3 times more than an average.  I felt that it was exceptionally sweet to taste as if it was mixed with sugar and a plenty of water. After drinking while I entered the Hall, saw that Mr. Ghosh paid Rs. One and forty paise on account of its cost, although ultimately I paid it from my pocket to Mr. Ghosh and here the dream went off.

The dream reveals thus:  The huge green coconut indicates the braincapacity of the seer which is 2-3 times more powerful than the average people, though in the spiritual world . Drinking the green coconut’s water means the permanent fixation of Brahmagyan or Supreme cult within the seer . The cost is Rupees one and forty paise means attainment of spiritual power by 140 percent, while Jibankrishna used to say, ‘I have attained the spiritual power by 200 per cent’.

Revelation  of  the  spiritual  condition  of  a  devotee

244.   13th, June. 1977. Monday.

In trance I saw Dhiren Mondal, a devotee with a very young appearance and wearing new clothes .

The trance revealed that the spiritual condition of Mr. Mondal has become very powerful and new realizations may occur in him with a new spiritual body.

Attainment  of  condition  with  non-attachment

of  physical  body

245 .   20th June.  1977. Monday.

Early morning dream:  A huge building was seen in a big field. Rows of rooms were arranged on the top floors and one room was allotted for me where the cots and beds were ready for me. It seemed that some other persons also used to stay in that room, while those rooms were also allocated for a number of persons . I went out for a walk and when returned found that my bed was missing. Then I cried saying ‘Debasish ! Debasish’! Then I was awakened.

The dream first reveals that the bed of the seer was missing. Bed signifies the body, this means he is in such a condition, when he has no attachment for his physical body. This is a very higher spiritual stage. Debasish means blessings of God. It means by the blessings of God he has attained such condition.

Attainment  of  new  spiritual  body

246.   24th, June. 1977.  Friday.

Early morning dream:   I was having a supper in one of my student Kanai by name . After finishing the supper it seemed to me that the dress I was wearing belonged to another person. While searching for my own dress I could not find it. On the other hand somebody gave me an olive green loose trouser and I wore it. Then that unknown person gave me a gown type velvety dress. Wearing it I found that it reached below the knee level and with that dress my dream went off.

The dream again reveals that the seer’s spiritual body does not belong to him but to God only and he is having a new spiritual body.

[After 28 years (Oct, 2005) the real meaning revealed in his mind that this was an indication that in future the seer will have realizations up to foot level, that means to the extreme lowest plane as mentioned in Tantra and by attaining this condition he may have spiritual controlling power. The realizations in the long run have proved the fact that he has experienced all these in his body. But the effects will be told by the Future].

442))                         “A learned ignorance is the end of philosophy and the beginning of religion”.

A philosopher wants and attempts to attain God through learning. He fails. It hits him in his egoism. But it cannot extinguish his real egoism. Real egoism dies when life—power is transformed and becomes visible in the form of God—Atma, and ego—consciousness changes and becomes identical with God—consciousness.

Beginning of Religion—starts with the appearance of Satchidananda Guru—God-the-Preceptor in the body.  It is a positive aspect.

443)                         “There are some who are born free—Nitya Siddha”.

They are born with such a pliable body that God in their body is liberated spontaneously ; of course, it is a rare thing, but it happens. It so happened with Thakur at the age of eleven.

444)                         “Those  who have got such a waist where life-power gets

awakened spontaneously are Iswarkati”.

The first awakening of life-power in the body takes place below waist and then she makes her way through  the backbone to the seventh plane.

There are two kinds of Iswarkati “.

(1)  “Some bamboos have got bigger hollows in them—-Shri  Ramkrishn

‘Bamboo—represents backbone.

‘Bigger hollow—represents the tubular space in the backbone .

In an Iswarkati, the hollow in the backbone is bigger then any ordinary man.

But this kind of Iswarkati is Iswarkati in name only as their realization and emanation of God is their body are meager.

(2)   They are real Iswarkati who in Descent see God-consciousness coming down from the seventh plane to the waist. It is the full—fledged form of Iswarkati. Then he becomes aware that he an Iswarkati.

445)                          “I gave up everything at the feet of Divine Mother but

I could not give up Truth to Her”.

God is Truth and Truth is God.

Truth or Reality or God is in Thakur. He sees and feels this Reality with every breath. So this Truth or Reality or God cannot be parted with. This Truth manifests in everybody external life. Thakur gave up ‘Woman and Gold’. It manifested in his everybody external life. It often so happened with him that with the appearance of a woman before him, he got Samadhi and thereby used to lose his consciousness.

As for gold , if a silver coin were placed in the plam of his hand , then his hand would get paralysed, his breathing would stop and he would feel pain and these changes in his body would not come back into normal condition till the silver coin was removed.

446)                      “It is very hard for a man to discharge the duties of a house—holder after

liberation in  full measure as well as separation of God from the body”.

A man with these conditions in him attain s the Supreme Knowledge. After attainment of Supreme

Knowledge, a man lives only to see the sportive forms of God in him. So far the material is concerned, he merely lives. Thakur used to say, “I shall eat, I shall sleep and I shall live.” But ultimately it does not remain so. He gets God’s commandment and becomes an universal teacher, nay more than that—an Administrative General in the spiritual life.

(Translated from our Bengali magazine ‘Manikya’)

Volume – 14, July, 2015

Ms. Rekha Das from Beleghata Reading Centre has narrated this dream:

On 2 February 21, 1985 I saw in my dream a huge two storied building.  There was a room with a portico on the ground floor.  It seemed to me that Jibankrishna had expired and his body was laid on that portico.  I was seated beside his dead body.  It was load shedding and I could not see anything properly.  I thought to light a candle to remove the darkness.  I entered into the room and saw that Minati, a listener of the reading center was standing there.  I told her, ‘keeping the body of Jibankrishna on the ground floor you have also come here’!  Being scared she said, ‘I shall not go there’.

At that moment I saw that the husband (Sisir Kumar Ghosh) of my third sister was standing there.  He said, ‘I am going there’, and he went down.

As soon as I was going to light the candle the load shedding had gone.  Hastily I went to the body of Jibankrishna.  He was lying on a white bed covered with a white cloth up to his neck.  Only his face was seen.  My first maternal uncle late Dulal Chandra Bose was seated beside Jibankrishna’s body.

Whenever I thought that Jibankrishna was no more alive, I cried very loudly.  When I controlled my emotion, it seemed that Jibankrihsna’s body moved a bit.  Then he opened his eyes and made a huge yawning.  After this all his devotees came there and began to sing.  While hearing this song I woke up.

[Jibankrishna also saw a dream that he was covered with white cloth up to his neck in sleeping condition.  He had two interpretations one he gave long time back when he said that during this ere people would have their austerity from 6thplane upwards.  Another one he gave after long years as such.  In this era the supreme knowledge will manifest within a human body through brain, not by strong physical body as used to be said by the Vedic Rishis or sages thousands and thousands of years ago.  Another indication of the dream is that in spite  of physical death Jiban Krishna’s spiritual form will not die but will act for years together within the mankind.  (This is happening still after his demise in 1967 when he appears in dreams and reality among innumerable people)].

Mrs. Lila De from Beleghata Reading Centre has narrated her dream thus :

One night I saw in my dream that Jibankrishna came and sat in the room of our Reading Center.  He was looking at me and I was also looking at him.  He had bare upper body wearing shocks on his feet.  Being overwhelmed with joy I bowed down to him lying on the floor.  I put off his shocks.  His feet were soft like cotton.  I wanted to feed him something and so my husband gave me two rupees to bring sweets.  At that moment my sister-in-law said, ‘there are some sweets in the box.  While I was washing the steel plate and arranging the sweets, my dream was off.

[In the dream God-the-Preceptor shows his sportive forms thus to the seer.]

Chapter 15

Seeing Atma or Soul in the form fish in dream

August 28, 1955.

Khagendra Nath Ghosh (To Jibankrishna)- My dream occurred a little bit before 1 AM. I saw in a pond with little water with two holes in it. A big fish came near me with a great speed. I tried to catch it but failed. The water of the pond was increasing gradually. It was very transparent and that fish was white and big. He said to me, ‘Hay, I am here, catch me if you can.’ I tried to catch it with a torn net but failed. There was no mud under the water, and the bottom was paved, the quay was also paved. Sinking in the water I observed that there was light inside the water. With a great surprise and pleasure my dream was off.

Jibankrishna later on said, ‘You talk about the fish incarnation and the fish talked to you. That was the visualization of Atma or Soul in the form of fish.

Khagen then said, ‘In anther dream I saw Thakur Ramkrishna. Then again I saw a human skeleton. From that sketon a man emerged. He was very, very old, and resembled Lord Buddha. Again I saw Ramkrishna Deva and lastly I saw foot mark of him. Then my dream was off.

Jibankrishna- Your austeries are completed. But that is not all. You only say that this is nothing to me. I have got you and I shall not leave you anytime.

Seeing the spiritual state of devotee’s own father

August 31, 1955.

Bholanath Mukherjee (To jibankrishna) – My father saw in his dream that Jibankrishna with an illuminated body was standing on his chest. Then, after a while he merged into my father’s body and his body was transformed in to Jibankrishna. Touching his cheek he wanted to verify whether he had beard like Jibankrishna.

Jibankrishna – Your father achieved Godhood. This was a good dream.

Achieving Brahmagyan or Supreme knowledge in dream

September 5, 1955.

Abani Das (To Jibankrishna)- Last night I saw in my dream that I sunk into the water of a big pond and then my dead body floated on the water.

Jibankrishna- Floating after death means ‘ego consciousness’  has become dead. Then you have achieved the supreme knowledge.

Symbolic visualization of Atman or soul

September 8, 1955.

Ramkrishna Ghosh was in deep meditation. After a long time getting back into normal state he narrated a vision during the meditation.

Ramkrishna (To Jibankrishna)  I saw that a dove came and sat on my plans two-three times. Lastly showing my body the dove said, ‘Everything is within that.’

Jibankrishna – Bird is the symbol of Atman or Soul. You had symbolic visualization of Soul. There is another question. Why did you see dove. In Christianity dove is considered as peace. That means in one of your previous births you were a Christian.

Chapter 34

A new Religion is established by seeing Diamond within

July 11, 1959

Ritualism in the evening is performed by Hindus. So this is a religion of Hindus. But we are seeing that this is not the religion of only Hindus, this is Universal Religion. It is the religion of every human being. I am a living person. People of all religions are seeing me within them, so whether you term it as religion does not matter, but it is a new Religion, whose proof cannot be found anywhere in Upanishads.

Jibankrishna’s pray – to live for ever

July 14, 1959.

My boys, throughout my whole life, I have continued with negation. I kept always my brain open. I have told you so many times that I have never worshipped Thakur (Sri Ramkrsihna) with any flowers. I never accept traditional things, I also look forward for a new thing. In Hindu families worshipping Gods and Goddesses are in vogue since time immemorial, but I have seen Thakur in a dream at my 12 years 4 months age, yet I have never worshipped Thakur.

All the individualistic austerities were performed in my body step by step, but I did not accept it and so new thing, came within me.

When Haren was instructed in a dream by Thakur to worship my feet and he approached to do so, I did not allow it. I told him, ‘Haren, you don’t know that Thakur is examining me.’ Had I accepted that I would have blocked in that stage? At that time I was going on negation.

Even so many people are seeing me in dreams and I don’t want to accepted it. Because I want that the whole human race should see my form. A few people of Bengal saw me within them, but that signifies nothing. This was my exposing of mystery. I understood that many are one. Everybody is seeing Jibankrishna, and for that reason I am charging that either the whole human race see me within them or let me live forever with this physical body.

The true Religion of mankind

July 14, 1959.

Swamiji (Swami Vivekananda) said, ‘To achieve the knowledge of non-dualism by self–exertion, a man becomes mad.’ Thakur (Sri Ramkrishna) said, ‘It is very difficult,’ and I say, ‘It cannot be.’

But how did this phenomenon occur here so spontaneously! By thought it cannot be achieved. To acquire it full-fledged realizations are required. Swamiji used the term ‘thought’. But do you know, so long mankind imagined a God and worshiped Him and this tradition has been continuing. That person accepted that worship. But is it the Supreme knowledge? A man becomes God and everyman is so. It is seen here that many are one – that is Brahma (Supreme self), who worships whom? There is no ‘Two’.

So the symptom of achievement knowledge of non-dualism is the non-acceptance of worship.

So long what we get that everybody has made himself superior, because what they have achieved in individualistic austerity blocked their knowledge up to that state. They thought that this was the true Religion.

In individualistic austerity ‘Samadhi’ (Profound meditation being merged with the Supreme Self) is the zenith. So many people make a show of Samadhi now-a-days. To them Samadhi is a big matter. But I said, ‘That is nothing, because this is not a standard thing which is not common to all. No, that is not the Religion. It cannot be the Religion of mankind.

I am now moving on a blade. If I fall on one side, I shall fall on Buddhism, and on another side my fall will take me to Hinduism.

There is no difference between a family man and a monk to achieve God

July 14, 1959.

Listen, I have discarded all my austerity of individualism because it creates ‘Ego’ and which is not common cannot be universal. Don’t worry. You will have children, love them, why you will be can’t you see that here is no difference between a family man and a monk here!

Goutam Chatterjee.

I was then three or three and half years old. The first day when holding the hand of my father Jiten Chatterjee and I went to meet Jibankrishna. I still remember that It was because only Jibankrishna was the main attraction to me. For long time I fixed my eyes on him. After a few minutes he said, ‘Oh, so long I did not have any talks with you! What are you seeing in me?’ Then in English what he said, I could not understand, but I guessed that he said, ‘Probably you are surprised seeing my beard.’ What would I say. When everybody in the room was laughing I also Joined without understanding any thing.

Let me say about my first dream after my first meeting with him. One night I dreamed that I had gone to Jibankrishna. The reading of the Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna was going on and he was giving the yogic interpretation. There were many in the room, though I could remember only my father. After two three days again I saw in my dream that I was seated in Jibankrishna’s room. From outside he entered into the room holding a bag. With great surprise I noticed that like me. We also collected some pebbles and stones. Then with more surprise I saw that he built a temple with those stones. A large number of temples were built and then he demolished all and threw all the stones outside. To day I understand that he wanted to explain that all these temples, churches, mosques are nothing but toys, because the human body is the perpetual residence of God.

So long I was able to go to Jibankrishna I was not grown up. I used to study in class nine level in the school. Within that time I could not understand him, and even not day, Now a days I am facing so many problems but during that time I had only one thought and that was about Jibankrishna.

Now I narrate about my realization of those periods. One Sunday morning I went to Jibankrishna with my father. During that period I used demand to go to Jibankrishna. However, on my way back from Jibankrishna, my father asked me, ‘Well, Which word gave you the most impression among his discussion?’ I said, ‘It was Rajyogo.’ To-day I realized that I heard ‘Rajyoga’ from ‘Raja’ (King). Often Jibankrishna used to tell me, ‘Practise mathematics as much as you can, read English well and you will grown up, exercise regularly.’ Counting my age he said, ‘Now you are thirteen, from to-morrow you start your exercise. After walking up throw your legs and hands, nothing  you have to do.’ For giving me encouragement he himself showed my some figures. Still I remember that scene. Besides this he used to enquire about the date of my examination and the result. Not only that, after hearing my result he calculated the percentage. One day on my way to school I met him on the street. Seeing me walking to school he was happy. On that particular day again he raised the topics on English and Mathematics.

During those periods I was a teenage but sometimes he used to ask me a few questions. There was no question to answer with my intellect and so I used to answer whatever came in my mind. But most of the time he became happy and so I.

One day during the Rathajatra (Chariot) festival (Hindu festival) I intended to ride on the chariot. It was decided that my elder brother and I would go to the fare after meeting Jibankrishna. When we went to him, he called both of us and told to sit on the cot with him. Beforehand I sat on his cot, but today it appeared in my mind that this was my chariot. Coming back home with great enjoyment I told my mother about my realization.

It was the period when Jibankrishna went to puri to stay for a long time. I remember one day’s incident. I went to puri with my father.

During a conversation a topic was raised on Iswarchandra Vidyasagar (Mentioned in the Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna. Vidyasagar was a great scholar and a social reformer of west Bengal in the nineteenth century). Jibankrishna told us a new thing. Madhusudan Tarkalankar was the teacher of Jswarchandra. Form the street he shouted, ‘Oh Iswar, what a marvelous sentence you have written – ‘Always tell the truth.’ It seemed as if all the enjoyments of Madhusudhan were enjoyed by Jibankrishna. What an emphasis he gave on this sentence ‘Always tell the truth’ was realized that day. It seemed that in that moment he wanted to inform the whole world about it.

Once my father went outside for some work. I was afraid of storms, lightening and rains. During that time my mother gave me consolation and said, ‘Why are you afraid? Thakur is with us. When you sleep at night he stays at our home.I thought, perhaps it was true.

As days are passing, new realizations are appearing within me and made my life blissful, though worldly hazards hit me. But ultimately those do not linger, and this is the power given by Jibankrishna and implanted within me to overcome every thing.

Chapter – 52

Vision  of  a  devotee’s  physical  condition

238.   14th April, 1977.  Thursday.

In reality a devotee Dilip Ghosh had an accident with fracture of one of his legs. On hearing this the whole day his figure used to appear before my eyes.

At night I went asleep and had a dream:  An open big space was seen where many devotees of Jibankrishna had assembled. Mr. Ghosh was also seated with a plaster on his fractured leg. I asked him, ‘Are you released from the hospital ‘? He answered, ‘Yes’. I noticed that he was recovering very fast. Seeing this  my mind became calm and then I woke up.

In reality also Mr. Ghosh was recovered before scheduled time giving great surprise to the doctors. It meant that through spiritual power he became recovered quickly, through it happened automatically. Moreover, the future of the devotee was also revealed in the seer’s brain.

Revelation  of  the  seer’s  spiritual  condition and  the  future  of  Sikhs

239.  15th April, 1977. Friday.

Every morning dream:  The first scene opened with a very wide and empty road without any public or vehicles. Only I was walking very freely along with some devotees named Khitish Roychoudhury, Sudhindranath Sinha, and  Arun Ghosh. Everybody was in a joyous mood. Mr. Sinha asked me with a smile, ‘You write the matters about JIbankrishna in your school, does anybody know’? (In reality the seer, by the grace of the Holy Ghost left the topmost post of a 150 years old Institution of National importance and joined an English medium school in Kolkata of great reputation for finding more time to write about the matters on Jibankrishna for the quarterly magazine ‘Manikya’)

I answered, ‘Not at all, I don’t let anybody know about this’. He said, ‘Very good’.

After this Mr. Ghosh said about his dream. Then Mr. Roychoudhury also said, ‘I had a dream where somebody was saying—He has reached the stage of Brahma-hood’ . So I said, ‘Two days before (12-4-77) I also had a dream about Brahma, where somebody was announcing that the own self of Brahma is Ananda or Divine joy.

In the next scene I saw that our school building became much bigger and I went up to the top floor. There I saw Dwijendra Nath Roy of Ghatshila and an old aged devotee with a very joyous mood. I was more surprised to see Khitish Roy Choudhury, Sudhindra Nath Sinha and Dhiren Mondal with Mr. Roy.

I had a long conversation with Mr. Roy but nothing could be remembered later on. Then after getting down to the ground floor I again went up to the top floor and still saw only Mr. Roy sitting there. I had more conversations on spiritual aspects with Mr. Roy. I also saw a Sikh gentleman along with his wife and then the dream went off.

The first scene reveals that the Brahmahood (Supreme state)has become established in the seer which had been confirmed by others.

The second scene indicates that the seer has availed the power of getting up and down freely in different planes within his body during austerity. By showing Mr. Roy it indicates that the seer is going to have the collective realizations in future as Jibankrishna used to remark, ‘Mr. Roy has a great capacity for collective austerity’.

By showing Sikh couple it reveals that in the long run Jibankrishna’s cult will spread among their sects.

Revelation  of  the  future  of  the  Asamese and  the

cry  of  the  human  race  for  Jibankrishna

240 .   26th April, 1977.  Tuesday.

Early morning dream:  At first I saw my elder brother who was telling me that he saw Jibankrishna in dream. After this I saw one Asamese gentleman who had taken the Bengali book ‘Dharma-O-Anubhuti’ in his hand. I was thinking that perhaps he could not understand it . When asked he answered, ‘No, I can read it’. Then I saw many other unknown persons crying for seeing Sri Jibankrishna. Here the dream went off and after waking up my mind became heavy with sorrow for their cry.

The first part of the dream indicates the future of both the elder brother and the Asamese. In future the elder brother as well as the Asamese may see  Jibankrishna in the dreams.

The second part is the concluding part of the dream seen on 18-3-77 where the seer himself was crying for the human race for not seeing  Jibankrishna in their realizations till now. Here it is vice versa. The future will prove it. It is noteworthy that  Jibankrishna himself also urged and cried for the human race for not seeing him.

Place  :—Temple  of  Dakshineswar .

(Henceforth  Shri  Ramkrishna  will be  spoken  of  as

Thakur” when required  as  it is so  done in the  Gospel )

436)                           “Sometimes, a devotee laughs , weeps, dances, and sings.”

These are all outward signs of manifestations of insignia by which an Avatar is known, as it happens with  Avatar only . It is called Urjita Bhakti or devotion in the flow—tide form. God incarnates in a man. How am I know it?

This laughing, weeping, dancing and singing are the outward manifestations of God’s incarnation in a  human  being.

437)                           “A man of knowledge (Jnani) wants to realize the Supreme God”.

This type of man wants to see and attain God by self—exertion. No attempt on a man’s part can enable him to see God without God’s grace .

Furthermore, he is the man of knowledge who has been God in the form of Atma in the seventh plane and is able to identify himself as on e and same with Atma at the annihilation of the body-consciousness.

438)                           “God is for a devotee and He is full of innumerable attributes”.

God becomes Bhagawan when He holds the Universe within Him. This condition of God may be seen in the personal God as well as within Atma. To see the Universe in the personal God is a lower type of realization in comparison with seeing of the Universe within Atma.

439)                         “In fact, God without attribute and life-power are identical and one”.

It is God without attributes who becomes God with attributes. It is seen and understood in Desent.

44o)                           “It is God, Absolute, who has become Blissful Mother”.

God, the Absolute and this human body are identical and one and the same in different aspects.

“Semen is so soft and fluid and form it this hard and stiff physical body is made—Shri  Ramkriasna.

441)                           “ Pure Knowledge and pure Love are identical and one”.

It is only different nomenclature as ascribed. There is but one God. God appears in the body in various sportive forms. They are seen. Love begets a form made of light as it is self-creation; whereas Man—of— knowledge is seen by innumerable members of the human race within their own bodies bearing proof that it is man who becomes God. This realization is spontaneous.

The question of Pure Knowledge and Pure Love does not arise.

“Atma, God or Brahma—they are one”.

Jibankrishna or Diamond the man in sun

Ms. Kajal Ghosh

From Beleghata Reading Center, Ms. Kajal Ghosh has narrated some of her dreams thus :

1)    On April 11, 1980 I saw in a dream that our next neighbor mother of Gopal was telling my mother that her mother had gone to listen to the reading of Jibankrishna’s (Diamond) book.  I asked her, ‘Do your mother go to the Reading Centre’?  She said, ‘Yes, she goes every day.  It is very good to listen.  If anyone listens to the reading of Jibankrishna’s book, God can be seen.  Who listens, do not feel what sorrow is.  In the Reading Centre interpretations are given’.  I said, ‘yes’!  And then with a great force I again said, ‘whoever listens will see God without any fail’.  Then I asked her, ‘Have you seen God’?  She said, ‘No’.  Then I said, ‘I have seen God and this was due to Jibankrishna’s grace, due to listening to the reading of his book’.

[The dream is self-explanatory.]

2)      On the same night (11.04.1980) I was sleeping with a pillow under my head.  My sister came and said, ‘There is a picture beneath your pillow’.  I said, ‘there is the magazine Manikya, but there is no picture’.  Then my sister took out the magazine and opening the pages took out a four-folded paper and showed a small picture.  The picture gradually became larger and larger and my dream was off.

[The magazine Manikya publishes only on Jibankrishna’s daily discussions, dreams etc.  It speaks about God only.  There is no difference between a picture and reality in the spiritual aspect]

3)      On April 18, 1980 I saw in my dream that Jibankrishna came to me hastily and said, ‘Let us go’. I asked ‘where to go’?  Giving me a red ochre Punjabi and a white pajama he said, ‘wear these quickly’.  So I wore these dresses and followed him.  He took me inside a plane.  It flows very fast.  In the meantime I noticed that another plane caught fire, but our plane landed safely in a place.  It was very beautiful and seemed as if a lotus covered an area of 8000 square feet.  The petals were illuminated and the middle part was illuminated with yellow color.  I was roaming on it observing the surroundings.  It seemed as if I was walking on a sponge.  I was very much surprised seeing such situation.  I asked Jibankrishna, ‘What is the name of this place’?  But without mentioning the name he said, ‘Once coming to this place no other places will be liked’.  I thought that he was right. So I asked him, ’Oh, then this is the place of God, isn’t so?  Well what is God?  He said, ‘God exists in a human body in the form of Atma or Sour.  God can be seen only in human body and nowhere else in the world’.  I was listening to him like a good girl.  Suddenly he stood on my head and asked, ‘where am I?  I said, ‘In my head, in my mind, in my heart and in my joy only you exist.’

Then we returned our home by the plane and I woke up.  But even after I woke up I remained half paralyzed for some time and then got back my sense.

[The dream is self-explanatory].

4)      On April 19, 1980.  I was thinking before sleeping at night, well, whatever is explained or discussed in the reading center is true?  I don’t believe that everything is discussed encircling God.  Then I slept.

I was dreaming and heard an oracle, ‘First faith is required, then everything will be achieved.  Unless there is a faith nobody can value a precious thing’.  As soon as the oracle was completed, Jibankrishna came to me and said, ‘let us go’.  I asked, ‘where’?  But without waiting for his answer I followed him.  After walking for some time we saw in a broken house pictures of Jesus Christ, Lord Buddha, Srikrishna, Lord Rama, Gourango, goddesses Kali, Durga, Saraswati, Luxmi etc.  After visiting all the portraits Jibankrishna stood in the middle of the house and the whole house with all the portraits merged into his body and my dream was off.

[The dream indicates that all are one.]

5)      On April 26, 1980 I saw in a dream that many companions of Jibankrishna had come from Taltala, Kolkata (where many companions of Jibankrishna use to assemble for discussion on Jibankrishna after his demise) to a place

I cleaned hastily a garden and constructed a hut with bamboos. A companion named Khitish (later on I came to know that there was a Jibankrishna’s companion named Khitish) was about to read.

After the completion of reading everybody started narrating their dreams and I was listening.  At last I began to narrate my dream:

I saw that I had gone to Siddheswari market.  This seemed to be sixteen times bigger than in reality.  In the meanwhile, I saw Sri Ramkrishna going somewhere by a van.  I asked him, ‘where are you going?  He said, ‘In the place of sun’.  I requested him, will you take me there?  But as he refused, I insisted him many times.  At last he said, ‘well, come’.  So we started.

At first we reached a place which was purple in color and full of fog.  There I saw many beehives with honey.

I asked Sri Ramkrishna, ‘What is the name of this place’? He said, ‘this is called the place of moon, say what is another name of moon’? I said, ‘Sudhakar’.  He said, ‘yes, Sudha means divine nector and so it is called Sudhakar’.

Then he showed me many other things.  Lastly I asked him, ‘Will you not go to the place of sun’?  He said, ‘With this body you cannot go there, but you wear this dice of golden elephant’.  I saw that I was covered with a dice of golden elephant.

Sri Ramkrishna took me to the place of sun.  There I saw only fire of orange and red colours.  I could not look at those scenes.  By the heat the cover of golden elephant began to melt.  Just at that moment a gentleman with a nice wristwatch and wearing blue trouser and white shirt held my hand and walked.

Then he showed me his right place.  I saw there a red bright light.  At this moment as my mother called me I woke up.

I felt that I had no power to get up.  Heat was coming out of my body.  My whole body was shivering.  For about half an hour I was in this condition.  After getting up I drank a large quantity of water, but I had little power to raise the drinking glass.

[The seer at first had the experience of Turiya state (The four states of human life : Waking, Dream, Susupti and Turiya).  Then she had experience of devotional state (Moon) and then state of knowledge (Sun). Lastly Jibankrishna (God) has crossed her all these states.  She had also experienced the state of divine consciousness (Honey).

Sri Ramkrishna – Incarnation of God, the gentleman in the sun is Jibankrishna – Parama Brahma or Supreme self].

Chapter 14

To see lotus in dream means to see the seventh plane or cerebrum

June 5, 1955. Sunday.

Nemai Bose (To Jibankrishna) – One night I saw in my dream that I had come to this room. There was water on the floor of this room and on a large lotus flower you were seated.

Jibankrishna – Oh, the dream was very good. Those who has come to me will have austerity in their seventh plane. Lotus flower means the seventh plane or cerebrum.

Seeing manikin form of Jibankrishna in dream

June 5, 1955. Sunday.

Phani Samaddar (To Jibankrishna)- I saw in a dream your manikin form within a light.

Jibankrishna – You have seen my manikin form. It is a good dream.

Seeing God’s Light within dream

June 5, 1955. Sunday.

Tarakeshwar Mukherjee (To Jibankrishna)- In my dream I saw that I had gone somewhere with you. On our return we entered into a dark road. Nothing could be seen. Then you emerged a beautiful light from your body and within that light we returned home with a great pleasure.

Jibankrishna – By the grace of God-the-Preceptor you achieved the austerities of both ascent and descent, and at the same time you saw God’s light.

Visualizing Allah and achieving ‘Paramhansa’ state in dream

June 5, 1955. Sunday.

Jiten Banerjee (To Jibankrishna) – In a dream I saw that two geese were pulling a rikshaw type vehicle and I was seated in that vehicle.

Jibankrishna( with a great surprise) – Oh Jiten Babu, the dream indicated your ‘Paramhansa’ State (The highest state of Vedanta)

JJiten again said- Another night I saw in my dream that you I had gone for fishing. The water body was huge like Chilka Lake. Two fishes were caught in both of our angels. We played these fishes for a long time. We saw the owner of this lake was a muslim and was very handsome looking. He offered us with sweets and luchi (Small and thin saucer shaped bread fried in ghee). While eating sitting on a bench my dream was off.

Jibankrishna – It is a very peculiar dream. You have seen Allah. That handsome looking Muslim gentleman was Allah. To play fishes means being transformed into fish to play in the ocean of God. You are having austerity through the body of your God-the-Preceptor. It was a nice dream.

Having Samadhi state within a dream

August 24, 1955.

Mrityunjay Roy (To Jibankrishna) – I saw in a dream that in the darkness somebody’s hand fell on me. It seemed that the hand belonged to you, and by the touch of the hand my power was increased too much. Then I patted on my chick with my own hand and saw that my own face vanished and it was transformed into your face. I was having palpitation and was senseless. My dream was off. Then again I fell asleep and saw that Binay, Souren and Netai came to our house. Showing Netai I told Binay and Souren, ‘Do not neglect him.’ He falls in the category ‘Isvarkoti Avatar’ (Incarnation in the category of God). Then my dream was off.

Jibankrishna – You had undergone Samadhi (Profound meditation merged in God) and the spiritual state of Netai was shown to you though it is judiciary.

Chapter – 33

What is true knowledge

June 26, 1959.

Only I exist. I exist in all. All of you, thousands in number have seen my form in dreams. So I only exist. The true knowledge means the knowledge of Supreme self, and he is a living human being. Nothing is outside that. But this won’t do if only I gain this knowledge.

The whole human race should say that ‘We see you within us’, and this is happening here and they are being transformed into my entity. But this won’t do if anybody sees a dead person, because past is merged in Brahma. What is the real knowledge? I am this universe – God.

Co-ordination of Religion

June 26, 1959.

In the first instance when people saw me in dreams, I interpreted my form as God-the-Preceptor. But now I have understood that I should not term it as God-the-Preceptor.

On 4th June, 1958 I suffered from Cholera type disease for a day. Thereafter I started questioning you, what was the meaning of ‘I worship Sri Ramkrishna but see JIbankrishna,’ – what was the meaning of it? These were just to unite all into ‘one’. Hindus, Christians, Muslims, Parsees all are seeing me in dreams. How great is it! This proves that every human being is ‘one’ in the religious world.

Swamiji (Swami Vivekananda) has mentioned, ‘So long the religions like Hindu, Parsee, Jain, Christians, Muslims will exist, there will be no co-ordination.’ But real co-ordination will come this way – everybody will see me within the body, and then only everybody will be ‘one’ in the spiritual world.

Seeing Jibankrishna’s form within the body is new in the world history

July 5, 1959.

Visualizing God is individualism and achievement of God is universalism. To achieve God means to become God and this proof will not be borne by the seer but by the human race.

Rabindra Nath Tagore has mentioned, ‘He cannot hide himself. He manifests in all times an ages’ But this is also judicial, and the Vedic sages who have established this truth mentioned it judicially. Such concrete proof was not found anywhere and anytime and for that reason ‘Sankhya’ denied the existence of God.

Keep in your mind, that I am merely a living man. If you term me as Brahma or God, I shall say that you are imposing it. Never support this phenomenon on the basis of past reference and you cannot force me to agree to it. This is completely a new thing.

Difference between visualizing God and to get God

July 5, 1959

Can you say what is the greatest magic of God? He is one and at the same time he is many, outside He is many, inside He is one.

Now comes the question – Visualizing God and getting God. Visualizing God is individualistic and getting God is Universal. To get means to become God. And the proof of it will be borne by mankind not by me. Rabindra Nath Tagor has mentioned (in his book ‘Religion of man’), ‘He cannot hide himself. He manifests him in all eras.’ But this is judiciary, because there is no proof. And see, the Truth which was mentioned and established by the great sages of Upanishads was also judiciary. No concrete was found anywhere in Upanishads. For that reason, in later parts ‘Sankhya’ (Philosophy) mentioned God as proofless as they had no proof. But look at here! I am a living human being whether you term as God or Brahma will not be accepted by me as I would say that you have implied it. If you want to establish this phenomenon through any examples of the past, you cannot make me grant it by force, because this is completely a new phenomenon.

The only welfare of the world is through Oneness

July 8, 1959

Can you say how the welfare of the world will be  established. It is only by oneness. My own self manifests within the human beings without my knowledge. And so seeing my form within the human race announce ‘Thou art all. The moral life thus becomes Universal.’

Replace ‘moral’ by spiritual. The Western world has termed as ‘moral’. To live in perfect goodness is to realize oneself in the All’ – This perfect goodness in the Superior self.

(Translated from my Bengali book ‘He Mahajivan’)

Volume – 12, June, 2015

My first visit to Diamond (Jibankrishna)

Narayan Nandi

The first time I visited Jibankrishna at his residence of Kadamtala, Howrah. I heard about him before but knew that a saint used to stay at Kadamtala. But I did not know his name and his appearance. It was November 18, 1956. It was Sunday. I went to meet Jibankrishna with two of my friends. After searching for a while we found an one storied house with open corridor in Kedar Deoty Lane. The door was opened. Some people were seated silently on the floor inside the room. One book was read at that time, and all the listeners were  listening with rapt attention. At the end of the room a cot was placed with a thick cushion.

Jibankrishna was half lying resting on his arm. His age was about 64-65 but looking very strong and stout.

We did not dare to enter the room and so with my friends we sat on the front open corridor. We were discussing whether to enter into the room and ultimately I entered into the room with folded hands and was going to sit on the floor near the door. Seeing me, Jibankrishna called me near him waiting his hands and said, ‘Come my boy, sit in front of me.’ Going near him I bowed him by touching his feet. Patting on my body with great affection he said, ‘Can you do some exercises’? Then he told me to sit on his cot.

On the floor about 12-14 people were seated. I said, ‘No, let me sit on the floor’. But he did not leave me and again said affectionately, ’Come and sit near me on the Cot.’ I was hesitating if others say something. When he told me 4-5 times I looked at others. Ultimately one of them told me to sit and then I sat on his Cot. One gentleman was then reading a book. Still then I had no idea what was that book. Later on I came to know that it  was the Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna and Khitish Roychoudhury was the reader.

After a while Jibankrishna went outside and seeing my other two friends asked them with sweet voice. ’Have you come here’? They said, ‘Yes Sir.’ ‘So why have you sat here, go inside and sit there. Nobody says. Getting permission from Jibankrishna they sat inside.

Today was Sunday, so many visitors had come ultimately the room was packed up. After a moment Jibankrishna came back and sat on the cot. He asked the visitors about their health and talked with joyous mood. Once uttering a word his body shivered and became still. Seeing his facial posture it seemed as if he was smiling. Seeing this scene I was surprised. Everybody  fixed their eyes at him. I was thinking what was it? Later on I came to know that it was called Samadhi (Profound meditation merged into God) and frequently it used to happen.

After a while he became normal and began to talk about the Gospel. His talking seemed so charming to me but at the same time I was repenting for not grasping such high level discussion. I thought perhaps coming to him regularly I might understand. Jibankrishna had a small bottle and inside it he used to keep snuff. During talking he was taking a tip of snuff and rubbing his nose with handkerchief. Gradually the room became jam packed and visitors sat outside the room on the open Corridor. During reading often Jibankrishna was giving the yogic interpretation. It was then 9 PM. Stopping the reading everybody touched the Gospel on the head and the bowing down to Jibankrishna they left the room. I also bowed down and patting affectionately on my body said, ‘Come again my boy’! I said, ‘If you attract I shall come.’ He again said, ‘Come.’

November 19, 1956. Monday. It was about 4 in the afternoon. I started for Jibankrishna’s residence. Entering into the room I saw that there some visitors inside the room and one person was reading the Gospel. Seeing me today he said gain with with affectionate voice, ‘Have you come my boy? Come and sit.’ Saying this he pointed out his finger to one place of the floor. Touching his feet with my hands I sat on the floor.

Reading of the Gospel of Sri Ramkrishna was saying, ‘If there is a little fibre in a thread, it will not penetrate the whole of a niddle.’ Jibankrishna said, ‘This thread means mind. When there will be any lust (Fibre) the mind does not reach the sixth plane(Near forehead). I could not conceive this meaning that the reading again started. Gradually in the evening more visitors came from the office. All were listening the reading with full attention. Being charmed I was looking to everybody and some times I was listening to the reading. Upto about 9 p.m.the reading continued. Jibankrishna bowed to the portrait of Sri Ramkrishna and others. Bowing to Jibankrishna every went out one by one.

When I stood for bowing down to him he asked, ‘Have you seen any dream my boy’? Bowing to him I answered, ‘No.’

About 15-16 days passed, every day I used to bow down to Jibankrishna and come out.

Then I had a series of dreams.

1)      I went out of my home for  meeting Jibankrishna. But the more I was approaching, the more I was backing and ultimately I could not go.

2)      I came near Bantra Public Library at Kadamtala to visit Jibankrishna. I saw that Bholanath Mukherjee and some visitors were coming from Jibankrishna. I was thinking, Oh, they were coming from him!

3)      I saw that I had gone near the room of Jibankrishna. The door was closed though I was hearing the voices of some visitors from inside the room. I understood that there were visitors inside. Then my dream was off.

4)      I saw as it I had sat for meditation. Suddenly I saw a huge tree in front of me. There was a cement platform and on it was seated mother Sarada (Wife of Sri Ramkrishna). Looking at my left side I saw that Jibankrishna was also seated. The dream was then off. I narrated this dream to Jibankrishna.

Chapter – 51

Accompaniment  with  devotees  and spiritual  practices

234.   5th  April, 1977, Tuesday.

Early morning dream:  Khagendra Nath Ghosh of Sainthia, Birbhum District (A companion of jibankrishna) was saying something about the spiritual manifestation in a human body through a loudspeaker. I was listening to it and thinking that when yoga is manifested within a man, his vocal sound becomes like this. Then I noticed that Mr. Ghosh was preparing himself for saying something more about God. I also noticed Dhiren Mondal, another companion was staying with him. Then the dream went off.

The spiritual condition of Mr. Ghosh is revealed. This becomes effective also in the seer . Besides, more realizations will occur in the seer in future, as Mr. Ghosh was preparing himself for mentioning more spiritual realizations.

Confirmation of  previous  dream  and increase  of  brain  power

235.  7th April,  1977.  Thursday.

Early morning dream:   I was narrating one of my previous dreams to Jibankrishna and on hearing it he fell in Samadhi state. After this I saw many devotees. Then the dream went off .

The dream seen previously is confirmed and will be effective within the seer as Jibankrishna has fallen into Samadhi after hearing this. Moreover to see many devotees in the dream means the brain power is increased for further superior realizations in future.

Increase  of  introvert condition  and  the blessings  of God

236.  10th April,  1977.  Sunday.

Noon time dream:  Along with a person I was going somewhere through Amherst street of Kolkata. It seemed that there was a riot sometimes back. But he went forward and so I also

followed him. After going to a certain distance a tunnel was found. We went down through it and found a floor. Then we saw another tunnel and went down through it and saw the same thing. While crossing down through 5th or 6th floor we reached the ground floor and there also a tunnel was observed. We again went down through it and ultimately found ourselves in the ground floor of a devotee, named Indranath Mukherjee at Makardah of Howrah District, where many devotees often used to assemble and stay for some days. There we saw two caretakers of the house sitting inside a room. While I was going to come outside the house opening the doors, they said, ‘Some notorious boys are coming to attack, don’t go outside’. I saw through the window a field where many boys were playing. Along with my companion I started going upwards. We realized that the notorious boys were coming to attack us by trying to find passages. I was closing all the passages and windows. Each floor was found to be of different types .Fifth floor was found to be for books only, thereafter the 6th floor and then the roof top. At last reaching there we found ourselves safe. The roof top also was open leading to the road and then we realized that nobody was after us. Here the dream went off.

The dream indicates that during austerity the seer’s mind cannot be extrovert by the grace of God. Here the unknown companion is God himself who was always accompanying the seer.

The dream has revealed another meaning to the seer after 28 years (October, 2005) thus—The seer reached the ground floor and then crossed down that, which may indicate that in future the seer may have realizations of the 1st, 2nd,3rd plane, but at this moment his body is not prepared for this . So he was prevented by the caretakers. When he will be suitable, this will occur in his life with realizations of the lowest plane.

Here every plane of the body was shown from 1st to 7th plane. The 5th floor was shown for keeping books, means when the mind stays in the 5th plane, the devotee will only speak and hear about God as said by Sri Ramkrishna Deva.

The  own  self  of  Brahma  is ‘Ananda’ or  Divine  joy

237.   12th April, 1977.  Tuesday.

Just before waking up from sleep early in the morning I was hearing, ‘ The own self of Brahma is Ananda, the own self of Brahma is Ananda’(Bliss). Twice this sentence was heard and then I came out of this trance and got back my full sense.

The dream indicates that the seer has achieved this condition.

Place  :—Temple  of  Dakshineswar .

Place—Temple  of  Dakshineswar .

(Henceforth  Shri  Ramkrishna  will be  spoken  of  as

Thakur” when required  as  it is so  done in the  Gospel )

431)                        “As the ocean is approached by the river, the force of

flow—tide and ebb-tide is increasingly felt by her”.

Ocean—is God, the ocean of Bliss.

River—is life-power.

Flow—tide and ebb-tide—are the outward signs of manifestations of God in the body and they are seen.

The inward transformations of life-power get their expression over the body. It so happened with Thakur every now and  then. In successions he used to have Samadhi of various forms and in every case of Samadhi, his out-ward expressions altered and they were visible.

432)                        “In ‘Jnani’ (man of knowledge), the river flows

only in one direction”.

A man knowledge (Jnani) wants to get himself merged in the First Cause. They did not get their five sheaths separated in their body. Neither they realize the sportive forms of God as life-power after undergoing transformations assumes and appears before a devotee, nor they are a quainted with the mystery of God, illusion, living beings, and the Universe. The best example was Shri Maharaj who stopped with Thakur for eleven months in the temple of Dakshineswar. Totapuri Maharaj had no knowledge of primal power (KaranSarir—the Causal body, the body made of God’s light i.e., God with form). Yes, Totapuri Maharaj was a man of very high order and merit but his realizations were short. A Jnani’s realizations are not in full measure. This is Lady Yoga or life-power running towards void zone or annihilation.

433)                         “To a man of knowledge (Jnani) the Universe is like a dream”.

Who is a man of knowledge ?

He who sees God in the seventh plane and becomes conscious that he is not body but God (Atma), is a man of Knowledge.

It happens only with Avatar—the chosen man of God. All others simply pretend to be a man of knowledge.

To see the Universe like a dream is the fourth stage of realizations when Atma in the seventh planeopens Him-self to show His real Self, i.e. He is with attributes and form a man cannot have knowledge of God without attributes and forms. So to say that the Universe is like a dream is a pretension and imagination.

434)                            “A man of knowledge always remains in the Real Self”.

To a man of knowledge, the Real Self is the Absolute . It never happens with a man save and except in the last course of Samadhi known is Sthitha Samadhi. “Well, the ego—consciousness never leaves one”— Shri  Ramkrishna .

435)                          “To a devotee, realizations of God do not remain closed but they unfold.

He gets floe—tide and ebb—tide of realizations”.

Flow—tide of realization—is to see the different sportive forms of God and ebb-tide of realizations—is to witness the finer forms of God in the course of transformation to the Absolute such as seen in the unfoldment of Atma. God—the—Universe changes into a Seed, and the Seed into a Dream and after Dream, nobody knows what remains. “A devotee at first sees glorious God with form and with glorious attributes, then the attributes of God with form lessen, then He turns into a baby form and finally He becomes God’s Light” —- Shri  Ramkrishna

Seeing Diamond in dreams and reality after his death through Reading Centers

Ms. Mana Mondal

From Beleghata Reading Center, Ms. Mana Mondal has narrated her dream:

For 3-4 years, I have been listening to the reading of Jibankrishna’s (Diamond) Bengali book ‘Dharma-0-Anubhuti’ (Religion and Realization) in different Reading Centrers at Beleghata, Kolkata.

On August 30, 1995 I was dreaming that I was transformed into a girl of 12-14 years wearing frock (at present I am 25 years).  It seemed as if I got a job as maid in somebody’s house.  That house was named as Ghosh Villa.

On the first day, when I joined, the house wife told me to sweep the room.  While sweeping I found a newspaper where it as written ‘Hiranyamaya Kosostha Brahma’ (Brahma or Supreme self in the sheath of gold in the cerebrum or seventh plane).  Besides that writing there was a picture of 4-5 months old baby and jelly like substance.

After my sweeping was over I saw that all the members were going out by a jeep for an excursion.  I asked the housewife, ‘where are you going’?  She said, ‘we are going to Mayapur’ (a sacred place of Vaishavas  who worship Lord Bishnu).  Saying this she handed over a baby of 4-5 months old in my hand and said, ‘there is a stove in the kitchen and full pan milk,  boil it and feed him.’

Looking at the child I saw the baby had short beard on the cheek, though I could not have the full view of his face.  Seeing this I was trembling with fear and told my mistress, ‘I cannot take the body in my lap’.  She said, ‘your Lord Jibankrishna has mentioned about this Brahma in golden sheath.  This baby will show you that Brahma’.  Then and there I remembered that news paper.  When the car left, the baby got down from my lap and holding a vertical rope went upwards.  Ultimately he went up so high that he looked like a doll.  Then he started whirling and ultimately took a shape just like the jelly as I saw in the newspaper, and he remained in that jelley.

[The seer visualized Supreme Self or God as in the golden sheath as mentioned in Chandogya Upanishad as such:

That Golden Person who is seen within the sun, has a golden beard and golden hair.

He is exceedingly brilliant, all, even to the fingernail tips. (1.6.6)

This is the mystery why and how a man or woman or a boy or old see Jibankrishna in dream in different states as described in Upanishads.]

2)      It was an open field.  In the midst a person was seated in meditation.  He had turban on his head.  I couldn’t recognize who he was.  But after some days I realized that he was Lord Buddha.

[To see Lord Buddha means to achieve the attributes of Buddha].

3)      Within the dream I woke up due to a bursting sound.  Opening my eyes I saw the rising sun and inside that I saw the form of Jibankrishna.  Gradually the sun moved through my right side and merged into my body.  I was at this state for a long time and then my dream was off.

The dream proves that the old Vedic Rishis used to see a person in sun as narrated in Upanishads.  But in Jibankrishna’s era it has been proved that he is that person in sun.

Suren Das

From Beleghata Reading Center, Kolkata, Suren Das has narrated his experiences thus:

That was the year 1979.  I was above 70.  How to get God was my constant thought.  I used to listen to the reading of religious books, but never found peace.  It was searching here and there where to her discussion about God.  During this time one of my relatives brought me to this Reading Center. Here the readers were Charu Bhattacharjee and Sister Mukherjee.

I started listening to the reading with great surprise.  It was something new which I have never heard.  Henceforth I became a regular listener, but didn’t see any dreams.  After about three months I had the first dream.

1)I saw a jackfruit tree.  At the base it produced fruits. Half of one jack fruit was under the ground.  I was having the smell of the jack fruit.  I broke that jack fruit and saw that it had only the seeds inside.  My dream was off.

[Jack fruit is many seeded.  The seer will have universal austerity though in seed form.  Single seeded indicates individualistic austerity.]

2)      Jibankrishna beheaded me and kept aside the head.  After a long time he joined it again.  I became much stronger.  Then I beheaded my grandfather.  But as I failed to join it, I began to search for Jibankrishna, though failed.  In the meantime he appeared, joined my grandfather’s head and then went away.  Next moment I saw my uncle and asked him, ‘has Jibankrishna left’?  He, said, ‘Jibankrishna has given life to my father.  My dream was off.

[To be beheaded means it is a type of Samadhi up to neck (chetan Samadhi).  The seer’s grandfather also got the grace of God-the Preceptor through the seer. To give life means to revive the divine conscious.]

3)     My mother was saying, ‘your father dreamt that Jibankrishna was patting him.  Hearing this, my grandmother said, ‘Jibankrishna stayed a long time with me’.  Hearing this, I began to dance raising my two hands and was saying, ‘I am free! While saying this I woke up.

[The dream indicates that through the seer his family members have also got the grace of Jiban Krishna.]

Chapter 13

Money in dream – spiritual realizations

May 30, 1955. Monday.

Samarendra Nath Dhar (To Jibankrishna)- In my dream I saw that I was having intense want of money. With a great worry I told my wife to give me a shirt. Wearing the old shirt I saw that there was a bunch of notes inside the pocket, and the amount was just to meet up my necessity. I was astonished, and the dream was off.

Jibankrishna- wife- the primeval power of the body; old shirt- the prejudices of previous births; the money to meet up the bare necessity means the spiritual realizations needed for the body.

The meaning of hiding on boat on land

May 31, 1955. Tuesday.

Nisikanta Dey (To Jibankrishna) I saw in a dream that a boat was sailing on land and reached near me. It was a strange thing that it had no passengers.

Jibankrishna – Yes my boy, everything is possible in God. The impossible thing becomes possible. You have seen the right thing.

God shows His sportive forms in dreams as God-the-Preceptor

June 3, 1955. Friday.

Satya Banerjee (To Jibankrishna) – In a dream I saw that I was seated in this room. Bankim Chakraborty was also seated there. I asked him about you. He said, ‘Don’t you know that he was taken forcefully by others to see a theatre.’ Then my dream was off.

Jibankrishna- A strange dream was shown to you! Had you seen that Bankim Babu was seated in this room and I was not there!

Jibankrishna then told others – Theatre – The acting place- this world. God has come from Absolute to show His sportive forms within the human body.

God-the-Preceptor announce his own introduction in dream

June 4, 1955. Saturday.

Sailen Chakraborty (To Jibankrishna) –I saw in my dream that my brother Kali and I had come to you. On our way Kali told me, ‘Brother you have not yet got God-the-Preceptor’! Hearing this I felt depression. Then entering into the room you asked about our health and later on told me, ‘Oh, I am your God-the-Preceptor.’ Saying this you had Samadhi (Profound meditation merging in God). After the Samadhi was off you patted on my head and then my dream was off.

[Through dream God-the-Preceptor gives his own introduction to the seer.]

To eat mango in dream means to achive ‘Brahmagyan’ or Supreme knowledge

June 4, 1955. Saturday.

Prabhat Bose (To Jibankrishna) – In my dream that you took a huge mango and handing it over my hand you said, ‘Eat to your fill.’ I asked, can I eat such a big size mango? You said, ‘Yes you eat the whole fruit.’ Then my dream was off.

[Jibankrishna- Hey Prabhat, you do not know that you have achieved the Supreme Knowledge, as you ate the mango.]

Seeing Sri Ramkrishna as gate-keeper of Jibankrishna

June 5, 1955. Sunday.

Nitya Gopal Das (To Jibankrishna) – One night I saw in a dream that I was going to enter your room, but Sri Ramkrishna was sitting near the gate and you were seated being in Samadhi state (Profound meditation merged in God). I told him to let me in, but he stood silently. Then I said, ‘Why are you, kidding me, move a way from the door.’ Yet he did not move and then my dream was off.

Jibankrishna – Thakur (Sri Ramkrishna) is my protector and for this reason he remains as my gate keeper. He did not allow you to enter which means you may have same flaws in your life style. Be careful about leading your life.
